- Five Finger Death Punch is one of those bands that hardcore metal fans love to hate. Decidedly mainstream and known for their many radio rock hits, their name doesn't often come up in conversations about guitar riffs. But, here's a handful of head-turning riffs that show they are more than just pop stars. How do you rate them?

Kickass! always feels good to see FFDP appreciation. Keep on killin' it dude
The only thing I dislike about FFDP is that all their songs sound the same to me, like they lost creativity since The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Right Side of Hell, but there are some solid tracks on the first three albums. Never Enough is a favorite of mine
For me it’s mainly their guitar tone and production. It’s so over produced and synthesized that it doesn’t really sound aggressive.

5FDP is one of those bands that’s hated and loved by many. Gotta hate on success, right? 5FDP IS a great band 🤘Respect for having the balls to upload this video knowing damn well the massive haters that follow.

The riffs are the only thing I can actually stand about 5FDP. When Ivan sings it's like oh god, please no. You're such a big emotional man & I don't care for it
He has a cool vocal range tho

At the same time Ivan's vocals is also probably a reason they have been so successful

Your tone makes these songs sound a lot better. Never really liked any of the stuff after their 1st album because I couldn’t get past that overly produced/synthesized almost fake sounding tone the guitars had.

Their first album was legitimately good but then they just started making radio music
I never understand that statement, why do metal heads hate radio music? I should be able to listen to my radio music instead of being judged for not listening to some obscure "underated" band

Less whiny lyrics and/or less over-the-top tryhard masculinity. Paired together, his screams just sound like giant manbaby screams.

I used to hate the vocals too, but it is easy to get used to. 🤘
FFDP makes music for people who chug energy drinks and join the army at the local mall, but yeah some of their riffs are absolute bangers.
