Thank you so much for your review. I was actually goign to get a LR3 but now I am going to get the Leo Loo, I have two adult cats and will be getting a kitten soon and I need something that will recognize all of them. Thank you so much.
Hi Kia, first of all congrats on your new addition to the family. Second thank you for viewing my channel, you'll be pleased with the Leo's Loo Too. Best of luck to you and have a blessed day!
I would LOVE to see a comparison with the new Litter Robot 4 since they claim it fixes a lot of their previous issues. I have had the two older litter robots. I was considering getting the new one because I still have issues with mine randomly stopping and having to take it apart to figure out how to fix it. But with all these new automatic litter boxes, especially the Leo's Loo Too, I'm considering changing to them. It just seems like...... Idk. They did a better job at fixing LR's mistakes than LR themselves. I feel like they have fixed even issues with LR's design that were super small, and I never even thought to complain about. It seems so much CLEAN. and I mean that both literally, and every aspect of their design.
Take a look at Reddit and the comments on the LR4. Poor quality control, slow - very slow - customer support, etc. (I own a LR3 and happy with all it does for the last two years. But should I need to replace it I would not buy an LR4 unless things change significantly.)
Horrible product. Died in 24 hours and when it did work it was constant issues and I had to literally baby sit it. I’m so disgusted, I I’ll never purchase from them ever again. No response from customer service and $75 to ship the piece of junk back to them. Pissed is an understatement.
I just saw a review and the Leo Loo beat the LR4. Not by a ton but was the better pick overall. Especially on odor and cust service and of course price. The Loo is $150 cheaper
Ive had litter robots since about 2012 i bought 2 of the litter robot 2s. I had issues with one and they had me send the base back and paid for the shipping and they fixed it and sent it back to me in like 2 weeks total. Then i bought a # 3 model. It was great for about a year. They sent me parts to fix it myself.Fine. then i bought another # 3 model because i got more cats. I had nothing but problems with it. They send me replacement base. That took care of issue for about a year. Then the lights flashing and its the pinch point sensor. They sent me new parts and i took it apart watching a youtube video. It works now. But now the otherone is so touchy. I Dont Recommend the litter robot 3 at all. I just got the litter robot 4. I love how quiet it is .i pray i dont have any issues with it after a year warrenty is up. I know how to take apart the litter robot 3 now and fix everything myself. But the litter robot 4 . I dont want to have to deal with all those issues i had with the 3 model. PLUS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS TURNED TO CRAP. THEY DONT EVER ANSWER YOUR EMAILS AND YOU HAVE TO CALL CALLL CALL. Iguess they make so much money now after all these years that they dont really care anymore .
I am leaning towards Leo but my one concern is my cats will be too large for it. What's the max weight? My 6 month old kitten is 10 pounds and he may very well get to 20!! I will be getting another one too and ragdolls are huge cats!!
Great question, Ragdolls are very large felines. My cat is at 13lbs, and I feel that for her comfortably the Leo's Loo is at max capacity. Now, even though I love the Leo's Loo product. I would veer towards the LR4 because it's larger size, until Leo's Loo will hopefully come out with a larger model. Hope this helps! Good day, -Midnight
Thanks for your review. I have 2 savannah cats that are not at maturity but are already long and tall and about 15lbs. It's expected that they may be about 18 to 20lb and possibly 16 to 18 inches to the shoulder. Do you think the Leo Loo too would work for them?
Hi India, those are going to be some hefty cats at 20lbs. For a feline of that size, I would look into the Litter Robot 3. Even though I love the Leo's Loo, I'm not quite sure if your cats would feel accommodated in the Leo's Loo. This is just my opinion, the final choice is yours to make. Cheers!
Litter robot 4 will ship in July. Wait for it instead. I don’t have Litter robot ,but I have other self cleaning litter box because my cats are smaller. LR 4 with a lot of upgrades sensors and improves from LR 3, its is much bigger and wide entrance. You should wait for it instead.
Thanks for the review. I’ve been eyeing the LR3 since getting my first baby almost a year ago. I almost took the plunge until I saw the 4 was coming out. However now I’m waiting for whisker to have the affirm option with the 4 🫤. I just saw someone recommend this litter box and decided to do some research. Now I’m probably going to try this out in the meantime. Are you by chance going to try the LR4 when it comes out. The improvements from the 3 seem great with the noise and overall look. However the Leo’s loo too pink color and sleekness is winning me over from the 4. Also how user friendly would you compare the two apps? I also contemplated the pura max but was a little turned off that the app isn’t so great with spelling errors and stuff.
I'm might be doing a LR4 somewhere in the future, but Im for the price to come down a bit to do a comparison video. To answer your question regarding the applications both LR3 and LL2 are similar however I've stuck with the LL2 app for 5 months and have not had a complaint. Good luck on your purchases, if you decide to go with a LL2 I have a link in my description (fyi: I do make a small commission, only to help my channel grow and continue to make more contents to showcase to my viewers)
@@midnightreviews2055 Thanks for the reply. I actually already took the plunge this morning and got the LL2 to try out. Your video being the main reason. I did read through the comments and saw where you posted the link previously and I clicked it so hopefully it went through for you 😀.
@@barbarawhite6959 Hey sorry for the late response. I’ve had it for almost 2 months now and I enjoy it so far. Having to not spend every morning cleaning the litter box has been amazing and honestly worth it for the price. When first receiving it took me a while to set up. In order for everything to work properly you have to make sure the drum is on track for it to spin correctly. Otherwise when you first turn it on it will try to spin but will do a sort of back and forth motion to let you know it’s not on track. App is great and pretty intuitive. I also have an automatic feeder and I like that I can actually access the feeder also from the smarty pear app which reduces the number of apps on my phone. One con that I did find was that the scheduling cleans weren’t that reliable. I was trying to get my kitty acclimated to this at first so I turned off automatic cleanings and had 3 scheduled cleanings throughout the day. I saw the sometimes it would run on scheduled and other times it would not. It seems that when trying to process a schedule cleaning the app would get stuck and stay in “cleaning” status which meant other times I had scheduled would never execute. I reached out to the smarty pear team and they were great at trying to help. I thought when I last corresponded with them, that the issue was fixed. However it wasn’t, and I haven’t reached out again since my kitty is used to the automatic cleanings. Overall I’m satisfied with the product and probably would rate it a 8.5/10. I’m still curious to try the LR4 though but honestly don’t have the space to try it out so I’ll probably do that once I have a bigger place. For now the LL2 has been a game changer for me.

Thank you for your review. Does the Leo's Loo Too have the auto dumping feature, where it releases all the litter to the bin, for cleaning purposes, or do you have to manually dump out the dome to clean it?
The cleaning process is pretty similar to the first Leo's Loo. Check out my video on the process, it's really not too bad and once you've got a rhythm. It only takes about 10-15 mins to complete.

I own several types and can attest to their effectiveness. Blessing and keep up the good work.
The Leo's Loo is a great investment, while being away from home I can rest assure my cat will continue to have clean litter after each usage. Plus with the app I'm able to view my feline friend's bowel movements are being regular. The safety features are extremely important to me as I travel knowing that my cat is safe during her bathroom visits. Good luck on your purchase, you may use my link in the description to purchase your own Leo's Loo! Thanks for viewing my channel, have a blessed day.
I pulled the trigger on Leo's Loo Too. The simple fact, that they answered my questions on Facebook messenger means a lot to me. I also prefer design and the price over the litter robot. Do you know what I could use with leo loo to help my 10 weeks old kitten to get in ?

Hi Jeff, My cat (Bella) was more comfortable in the Leo's Loo, I think mainly because the Litter Robot was louder and she maybe was more afraid of using it...that would be my guess. Also, I felt changing the liner in the Leo's Loo was faster and easier because I didn't have to contour the bag to make it fit properly and secondly it appeared to be less messy than the Litter Robot because of the lid on top of the waste tray of the Leo's Loo. Hopefully my video was easy to follow as I tried to cover as much of the features both had to offer. Don't forget to share and like the video! THANKS FOR WATCHING! -Midnight
How was cleaning the inside of the Leo's Loo? The Litter Robot has the 2 piece design to be able to take the outside 2 pieces apart and clean it. Which is very handy.
