hey do you have any tutorial explaining how to assign a button to the loop you just made with the guitar? I'm dying to try and do that for live performances in a dawless way... having each button storing a loop to be played throughout the performance. great stuff
Thanks for checking out the video! I am using ableton in this to do the looping. The launchpad doesn’t actually store audio files it just send information to a DAW or instrument that can understand midi. You would best use a sampler like Maschine or a Roland SP404 or loop pedal to do the kind of thing you have in mind I imagine
@@3xAudio hey thanks for the reply. I'm looking for something alike your video tbh, just to use the launchpad as a live looping with ableton or any other DAW
@@pileef the way I do it, is have maybe 4 or 5 guitar tracks on Ableton with different effects or maybe the same effects depending what you want to do (same input). Have the amount of tracks for the amount of loop layers you want. I then record enable the track I want to loop each time/layer and press the record button or press a clip button on the launchpad. When you press the record button or clip you just recorded again it automatically loops. Not sure if that makes sense. I like to have individual tracks for each layer because you have more control to mix afterwards and can have different effects.
I know Im a few years late to the game but it seems LPP really changes live production and looping capabilities. Im curious if you have feedback if Im missing anything to get started, this is the core of my setup to do live looping: - MacBook Pro with Ableton Live Lite - Launchpad Pro MK3 - Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd gen audio interface - Handpan - EnSoul handpan pickup - Acoustic electric guitars - Cables 😅
Yes you should be able to do something similar. You will just need select the red record-arm button on all the tracks you want to loop on your laptop before you start recording. It would be best to do it with different instruments or have different channels per track. Or maybe you could midi map some of the pads on the bottom to arm the tracks you want record/loop
I enjoy the visuals that you put on the fence
Thank you it’s my personal blue screen 😂
Yoooooooo, This is EPIC, Bro You deserve more subscribers 😍🔥💯
cheers for the support my friend
nicely done....deserved to be done longer!
Thank you friend. This was a project I tried to get creative consistency back going by limiting myself to one minute videos. Hope you are well!

That’s a very rad loop and video! How did you do those sweet video FX on the fence?
Thanks bro. Easy enough, I just used the chroma key effect in premiere pro and selected the blue fence. Thanks for watching
Nice :)
Cheers broski! Thanks for watching !
@@3xAudio You're welcome! :D
Is this possible with the launchpadX? Thank you!
