My first flight on a wide body jet was a Britannia Airways Boeing 767-200 from Alicante to Luton in March 1987.It was a 2-4-2 configuration, smoking was allowed on board in the front cabin only, there was in flight entertainment but it was a large screen at the front of each cabin like a cinema and the provided headphones were rather like a doctors stethoscope. I live in Luton and I remember one day in late 1982 that Boeing sent both it's 757 and 767 demonstration aircraft to the airport to demonstrate to the staff of Monarch who had ordered the 757 and Britannia Airways the 767.I have only ever flown short haul on the 767 with my longest flight being UK to Cyprus.

Fantastic stories there, Britannia 767-200 I think was my first one too although I wouldn’t have remembered much given I was a tot. I remember Britannia 360 tv (or something to that effect) and just endless shows repeats of dinner ladies on a crt tv!

The Boeing 767 is an iconic and underrated airliner! I did 11 flights with British Airways around Europe on their Boeing 767 flights before they retired in 2018. I've also flown the 767 with Icelandair, American & Delta, I'm pleased that cargo airlines will likely keep them flying well towards 2050 at least!

Looks retro inside that cabin but it's also been really well maintained. Asiana are a fantastic airline- I flew with them between Seoul Gimpo and Tokyo Haneda and the inflight service was amazing. Sadly when I visited Jeju I flew on a 737-800 with T'way and back with Eastar Jet. Not an exciting aircraft type but two cool airlines to experience nevertheless. Hope you had a great time in South Korea, I loved it there.

Really cool inside with the retro feel. That's what I mean when I say it's like a time warp, the cabin feels 'new' given how well maintained is

Another great video JT. Like you, the 767 holds a special place in my heart being one of the first heavies that I flew in - long haul.

Thanks! I've only travelled on one long haul twice, Latam from Miami to Lima, and United Lima to Houston.

    Great video Jamie.
My favourite 767 memory was a Ryan International N637TW from RAF Akrotiri to Brize Norton.
Has 2 seats to myself next to the PW engine.

What a plane! I've only flown on the B767-300ER and it's much different from this B767-300.

I could see too many differences. The main internal difference might be the cabin style, but I’ve flown on -300ers with this cabin too. It think it’s the launch version which was updated when the 777s launched to have the same look and feel. Almost like when Boeing launched the sky interior on the 737 following the investment in 787 cabin design
