How to change the oil on the 2008 Ducati 848

  • I'll show you how I change the oil on my Ducati 848. Seems like a fairly straight forward DIY job. Don't forget to take it off the stand and check the final oil level with the bike upright on level ground. Enjoy!

    hello, i was wondering if the oil cooler has to be unplugged and drained? I see that the drain from it is quite high and its geometry indicates it may keep some oil on the bottom.

      I didn't pull, unplug and drain that...but it might be a good idea. I also think the oil in there might be minimal. Thanks for watching.

    Thank you for the video ii dont have a bike stand but after ii get one ill be able to change my own oil now ii hate having to sign in but ii had to to give you that like thanks again

      You're very welcome. I actually bought a stand for the rear AND the front so I can remove the wheels.
