Eight treasures congee & corn ribs soup | Great food for cold days! Very easy and tasty!

  • • Ingredients: #eight treasures congee
    Glutinous rice 100 grams, rice 100 grams, black kerneled rice 80 grams, red beans 100 grams, big red kidney beans 80 grams, peanuts 80 grams, red dates 80 grams. 0:40,
    Brown sugar 100 grams 1:49,
    Wash the ingredients and soak it for 1 hour. Add beans and half pot of water in pot. Heat the water to be boiled. Then change it to medium low heat and cook it for 1 hour. Check the state in the middle of it and add proper amount of hot water to control the thickness. Finally add brown sugar in it and cook it evenly.

    Ribs(clean it and let the blood come out) 1250 grams 2:22,
    Heat the water and add some green chinese onion and ginger in it. Add the ribs in it and cook it for a while.
    Fresh corn 1, 2:42,
    Green Chinese onion 2-3 pieces, ginger 3-4 slices, 3:03,
    Szechuan peppercorns about 10, 3:08,
    Cooking wine abit, 3:11,
    Water half pot of it 3:14,
    Salt abit of it 3:40,
    Fructus Lycii some, 3:52,
    • Cook it for 20 mins with medium heat, add some salt in it, then cook it for another 20 mins with medium heat, before take it out, add some fructus lycii in it.
    • In the video we cook it with medium heat all the time. Some of the gas stove might have stronger power and the soup might overflow. In practical we can change the heat according to the condition.
    • The temperatures in the recipe are all in celsius degrees. Fahrenheit degree=celsius degree*1.8 + 32°F。
