The song has so much meaning to me. When my best friend Maniac Mike Davis passed away this was the first song I heard after hearing about it and everytime I hear it now since then it causes me to think of him. Miss ya buddy!
My brother passed a month ago after a long illness. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there with him at the end. It’s left me heartbroken but my memories of him will always be while he was well. He also made me swear to send this song to his husband after his passing. Which I have done.

Just saw Diamond Rio in August and hoping to again in March!! Gene, Marty & Dana... plus not singing here Brian, Jimmy & Dan. My fiance's Dad Butch McGrath also played the mandolin and was a 1st cousin to Gene, making my fiance' a 2nd cousin. Such a great group of musicians we're lucky to have listened to since the late 80s early 90s!!!
