This is the greatest song in the world makes me think of my dad I lost 16 years ago Everytime I hear this song it's fills my eyes with years because this song makes me think of my dad so much he fought that cancer till he could not fight no more now he rest high on that mountain I miss him so much was so hard on me to lose my dad when I was so young it still hurts like day one from 16 years ago think about him every day resting high on that mountain miss you so dad , what I give to just say a few more words to you .

I played this song for my dad when we buried him on a small mountain cemetery in 1996 my mom died on February 22 2024 and I went and put some of her ashes on my dad’s grave and listened to this song for a week. Vince your voice is incredible. Thank you.

I lost my wife at 38 and I also lost my Job. I saw my life turning around for the best when I met Lyra holt Dean at a church service in New York (google her name) and ask your questions and pray because its GOD doing. Vince Gill is my favorite country singer and I love how he can harmonize. He has a wonderful voice and he sings with the other country singers.
If I feel down, I can listen to Vince Gill and his voice and his songs he has written are just what I need to hear and it lifts me up. My late husband that I lost to Leukemia (AML). We enjoyed listening to Vince Gill and also enjoyed listening to the Bill Gaither programs on Saturday nights. That was are favorite country programs. My Jerry has been gone almost 20 years this November. Now I listen to Vince Gill and the Grand Old Opry by myself and I enjoy the good country music and especially when Vince Gill is singing. I will never get tired of listening to Vince Gill.

Right after by brother died, I pulled it up on my phone, laid it fright beside his right ear and played it. He had been pronounced dead, but I saw one tear roll out of his right eye. Me and the nurses all were crying.
Can't listen to Vince without tears streaming down my face; he touches my heart, bringing back the old country of my father's era. No one else ever comes close to the heart of Vince Gill or his love for the old timers 💖 and their struggles and their talent of that era.
