Just a great musician and a wonderful man, not a fan of most country but I'm a Gill fan for 30 years!
I had the good fortune of meeting Vince Gill in a small intimate performance lounge at a radio station I worked at in Birmingham Alabama. He is a genuinely humble performer. He didn't need to stop in for our small room of maybe 40 listeners but he did and he just fit right in as one of us, completely at ease chatting with the audience between songs. What a beautiful and gracious man.

Saw Vince in a small venue in Lowell Mass. I have to say it was the best concert I’ve been to,and I’ve been to a few. And to top things off we were let in for free.Best Concert ever. He tells a story as great as he sings.

It has always interested me the similarities between certain country music and the Blues. I can just almost hear Ray Charles doing this. Much respect to Vince Gill whom I only came to appreciate late in my life. Amazing talent! This is going on my country play list for sure!

This is one amazing singer, songwriter and a true gentleman. It is a task like no other to put one of the artists above one another, be it style ,voice , song writer, or performer, Male or female. They all have their unique styles , so it would be unfair to put anyone on top of the pedestal and say he or she is the greatest in this format . Each of us has a favourite, and there is nothing wrong with that. All I can say is, you all do a fine job, and please keep up the good work.
