Thank you for showing us mere mortals how the M performs after its restrictions are removed but still in stock form. iMO I take my hat off to BMW and what they have produced for their customers. You can clearly see the difference from the base model to the M model, and what you get for your money is absolutely incredible. The sheer amount of carbon on the M from the factory is incredible. You have people that are spending bread just to get other bikes to that level. Can’t wait to see what you do with this Ib, motivation at its finest. Keep pushing good brutha
and yet, all that extra carbon fiber is mostly cosmetic and for the price not worth it on a bike, which if you're using it for its intended purpose, is close to going down very often. if anything, I'd much rather not have all the CF and keep the money to replace fairings if I push it past the limit or get clipped. If anything, unless you have infinite money and a bunch of other bikes to ride while this is in the shop, like ib here, you'd only be hindering your enjoyment by getting the M1000 and babying it. This is from experience, I had someone tap my bike into falling over at almost full(emergency)-stop, and it was fairly minimal damage, but I cracked my OG S1000rr fairing, with M colors. I ended up missing 2 months of the riding season because they had to paint a new fairing in Germany and ship it, since they change M color patterns. CF OEM parts for a rare bike like this, would be even harder to come by...
Watching the Tech use AIR and the other pc program takes me back to school @ MMI I studied BMW Honda & Yamaha. I should go get a job at a shop somewhere
Such a gorgeous machine! I tested the M1000R last weekend, and oh boy oh boy... my local dealer is now on a mission trying to get one from the factory! Enjoy.
The Motorrad dealers here in Sydney will not let you test ride an M1000R. They are only ordering them in as customers pay for them - no floor stock or demo units. I love the look of the Competition model though. It looks like the perfect hypernaked.
@@MrDeepseadweller Kinda same story in Norway. However 2 shops in the country had demos of the M1000R comp edition. It was a 480 km drive on-way, The bike was AMAZING! Super smooth, powerful, fast and more nimble than my 2022 Ducati Monster. The only downside on it was the seat, you need an aftermarket seat for it like a Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT.

Nice one. Got mine a couple of days after you in 🇬🇧. Got 540miles on it at mo but sadly gotta wait until 5th July for its first service. They will allow up to 900 miles as not to avoid the warranty. Ironically I’ve stalled mine 6 times in those 500 miles so it’s obviously an issue! Bloody dangerous if you are turning left or right and mines a bit kangaroo at low speeds. Obviously bad fuelling. Don’t know whether we have Bren tuning over here. My h2,s are both woolich maps. Probably be the only upgrades I’ll do to it as it’s pretty good once you are moving.
Luckily our European bikes aren't restricted like the US bikes,so Bren tuning won't give such big gains. Just take it to Crowe Performance, no messing, no bull

Hey, can tell me how much you paid to have the Front & Rear replaced and painted to accommodate the high wing Aero? I’m planning on doing the exact same thing.. i’m going with a Silver Flare and very much want to add that High wing! Not real sure if I’m going to go with the Canards, so I might just be replacing the rear bumper.

I'm glad I got away from such a negative person .. but the city of Dallas told me he would act this way .. and they was right ... and he ended up killing a friend behind some motorcycle beef smh .. dude is 100 negative now he's in to cars all of a sudden ....but 🙄 but any way keep up the good work
