- The baby was reportedly shot several times on Friday afternoon. Shortly after, a house at the scene of the hostage situation caught on fire.
People have lost their minds! Parents are supposed to protect their babies and children!!! Every day parents killing their children or abusing them. God help us.

The exterior perimeter was secured. Officers backed out, not making contact with the lunatic inside, waiting for SWAT. Text book police function for critical incidents like this.

I'm having a hard time understanding this story . A mother claims a man breaks into her home at 3 AM to take her and the baby hostage . ( For what purpose ?) She then claims she flees a home without her baby ( What ?) and calls 911 from a construction site at approximately 11 AM . ( Why didn't she go to a neighbor's house and call ? Ring door camera avoidance ?) The police then allegedly arrive and then break in a door and a " father " shots his own son in the legs rather than shot the police ? I'm not sure any of this makes sense to me . I would think that If a " father " actually wanted " his " child, he'd have just shot the woman and fled with the baby at 3 AM to Mexico , or wherever. I'm sure the 🚓 ce will have a story to try and explain all of this , but none of the mans ( or the woman's behavior) actually makes any sense from a " Father's " ( or a mother's ) perspective.

Ammunition going off in a fire poses very LITTLE danger of injuring firefighters. This has been proven many times.
