Don’t leave India without visiting “the statue of unity” in the state of Gujarat ❤where I live 😅
This statue is the tallest statue in the entire world❤and there are so many places to see and explore so plz come to gujrat❤and my personal advise is to you that if you are travelling by train ,use the Vande Bharat train instead of any other.
And there are so many places to visit in the northern side in India to like Jammu and Kashmir in north.
Even 1 year is not enough to explore the whole India ❤😂
And welcome to this incredible country India 🇮🇳
    Lots of love❤.

Don't go to Kerala now. It's rainy season.
If you are traveling to Kerala, always check how climate forecasts in advance. When it rains, it pours. If you come to Kerala during, floods. You will be in trouble & you will be stuck in a hotel or somewhere else not able to visit any places as you want. These issues won't happen if you came during regular season.
But Kerala is stunning during rainy season, far far better than how it is during regular season. But there are risks associated with that. Flooding, land slides etc can happen anytime. Beware of that.
Also don't take selfies or click pictures with people. Politely decline. Most of the time people will accept that, if some crazy ones still disturbs then ask for help from locals. They will deal those people. If you allow 1 person to take selfie or a photo, then 10 people will see that and come. You wil lose a lot of time. So learn to say No in a polite way.

Kolkata is the city you should go among big cities culture is very rich.
And West-bengal has diversified landscapes like Darjeeling areas for mountains Himalaya and Digha, Mandarmani, Tajpur for Bay of Bengal sea beach, plateaus like Chota Nagpur in places like purulia, Heritage cities like Coochbehar, Murshidabad.
Forests like Jaldapara National Park, Buxa tiger reserve, Nagrakata forests etc.
Sandakaphu trek is there in West-bengal that is Nepal border. You can also visit Phuenselling, Bhutan that is accessable from West-bengal.
Karseung, Kalimpong, Lava, Lolegaon, Mirik, Sultalekhola etc. are very nice hillstations nearby Darjeeling

Welcome to India. Also do explore the north eastern region of India, consist of total 8 states (basically it recognised as 7 sister and 1 brother states).
Where you find totally different cultures and traditions as compared to rest of India. Also you find more greenery and natural beauty in this part of India.
I belongs to Assam state, so here I only shared some of the main attractions for which you should visit.
    1. World's largest river island, Majuli.( where you find the Masks Culture )
    2. World's smallest inhabited river island.
    3. Kaziranga National Park, home of one horned rhinos.
    4. Silk Industry (especially the Golden Muga Silk culture, largest produced state in the World).
    5. Tea industry, largest tea producing state in India.
    6. Asia's first ampitheatre in Sivasagar district (in sivasagar district, you will find the history of AHOM Dynasty, by whom the mughal empire was defeated 17 times, most by any dynasty in India and ruled almost 600 years)
    7. Digboi refinery, Asia's first oil refinery and also oldest oil well in operation.
    8. Food culture (Our food tradition is way more different than rest of India, for explore such traditions, you should visit some locals house, and also whole north eastern states food traditions are differ form others).
    9. Kamakhya temple, Guwahati (the temple is believed to be the place where the womb of the goddess fell. Thus, it is also synonymous with supreme female power and fertility).
Also in north east, you will find
    1. Asia's cleanest village
    2. World's only floating national park
    3. Wettest place in the world
    4. World's only market which is run by only womens.
    5. Rich cultures(home of more than 200 tribes).
    6. Home of music festivals.(Ziro music festival, Majuli Music festival, Hornbil festival, Orange festival, Falcon music festival etc)
    etc..............
So without visiting this region, your India trip is incomplete😊
