Hope that you guys have had a good time and a pleasant stay in Langkawi. Wonderful video. Lots of good and delicious street food at the pasar malam, the open night market.
It was just because it was so high! And yes I agree, sometimes we don’t quite capture/vlog the experience as much as we’d like, but we’re still learning :)
@@MattLaurie Well, no worries. You'll be an expert eventually. I think that the most important thing while traveling is to enjoy your exploration and adventure. 😀
@@MattLaurie If you don't mind. One of the chewy dessert that you guys tried at the pasar malam is known as buah Melaka or onde onde. The balls are made of glutinous rice with palm sugar as filling and coated with fresh grated coconut. 😀
@@MattLaurie Fun fact. Langkawi is the first UNESCO geopark in Southeast Asia. On Langkawi, there's a sandstone rock formations ageing 550 millions years old and a granite pebble dropstone ageing 1 billion years old originated from the supercontinent. 😀
that ramly burger is deep fried burger, the famous one people always talking about is the normal grill one. rarely on pasar malam, usually on random streets
Hi Matt and Laurie, loved your video so many yummy foods in the market. The coconut ball sounded lovely. Amazing waterfall. All the best Chelsea and Mike
Sweet corn 🌽 & different types of beans is very common in South East Asian desserts. There are ice creams, porridge (during tea time) & kuih(s) made with these ingredients. Look at the ice cream section of a mart or grocery store & check out the flavors 🎉
just a suggestion,if u like sea, beach activities, try go to sabah with snorkeling, seafood, sunset, kayak view activites..sabah didnt get enough love, try looking it up for next adventure/holidays..
Definitely preferred Langkawi to Penang. The best beaches in Malaysia are on the east side: Perhentian, Redang and parts of Borneo Malaysia. Langkawi is awesome though
2:43 4 sticks for RM3? That is so cheap. In KL, 1 stick is about RM2.50 3:47 That is new for me. I have never seen the whole burger get deep fried. 12:15 She is really good at this. Looks so real!!! LOL >_
How do you know that the food you eat is soo good n delicious when you haven't taste it yet..just by the look of it then you said it is soo good😂😂😂 i don't know why coz most vloggers says it like that even when they haven't taste it unless you have taste it then maybe you are right 😂😂😂..sorry to comment..Greetings from Borneo Sabah East Malaysia..cheers🫶

What happened when oh crap. Looked like you guys could have filmed more from the skybridge and the observation deck.

Interesting! Thank you! You don’t find them in any British deserts!
Nice, and easy-going approach to your vlogs is pretty addictive I must say. Just when you think it has ended, there's more!😂😂😂

Are the east sides open in January? I wanted to visit one but everyone was saying perhentian and tiomon are closed in January.
@@sabrinaroz2000 I think they actually are closed

Yes, no doubt, Langkawi is Malaysia's best island so far.
I prefer Penang island.
Hi nice video, what means of transport did you use in langkawi island ?
Taxi mainly (Dart App). Not many buses and taxis were really affordable
@MattLaurie Thanks
Loved the 3d musuem
1:09 Apam Balik (yes you nailed it! you pronounced it correctly), 3:32 that's not a typical ramly burger
whatever happened at the skybridge ?? the views of the islands are surely near epic yeah...was kinda expecting longer video run/more shots up there
Monkeys?
Fear of heights and monkeys or the moving bridge
Hi! We didn’t quite get as good footage as we would have like up there, so it was a shorter segment than I would have liked!
I love that apam balik
Welcome to langkawi
Thank you ☺️
Is October a good time to visit Langkawi?

How did you travel inside langkawi
Taxi mainly :) they were very affordable and the easiest option other than renting a bike
You seem to have eaten a lot of sweet foods!
We have a sweet tooth let’s say!
Langkawi the hawaii of malaysia, island of brown eagle

Ramly burger is like a normal burger. Not fried.
You guys did not walk up to the top of seven wells.
Putu mayam. It is tasteless unless you eat with the coconut and palm sugar
Langkawi island may not be very well-known compared to the rest ...so U think it's worth visiting??😅
100%
TQ for the nice informative video..Looks like it is a good place to travel to.. Right.? 👍
Perhentian island best

No bikini no booze - that's Langkawi under the current Islanic state government.
