Lemburis Kivuyo no, but here at Chelsea we saw him come in as a boy and have watched him blossom since the day he joined into the legend he has become. He hasn’t put in anything short of his all. All these guys, him, Lampard, drogba and the lot all have one thing in common, their relentless effort.

I was so upset when the club they didn't give him another year. But yet they bought Drogba back. He could of won his 4th pl title 😓.

His goal against Barca truly demonstrates how much he understood the physics of the game. The way he uses that that little bit of momentum from his touch to guide the ball into the net 😮💨 That’s a total veteran move. He knew the ball better than almost anyone.

@@thedictationofallah Gerrard overrated as hell. Frank has more assists. More goals. Scored in finals as much as Gerrard. Scored more headers. Scored more from outside the box. Had a better left foot than Gerrard. Gerrard was faster, and only slightly better defensively. That is it.

would definitely have Makelele instead, he was so key for us!
Kante isn't in the same class as Makelele..yet. Kante makes up for a lot of his tactical shortcomings with his stamina and work rate. He doesn't read the game as well as Makelele, nor does have the presence in midfield to control it. Not yet anyway. He is still young-ish, and will get better with age.
Lamps-Makelele was top drawer, can't be replicated.

Young frank lampard was truly long ranger, old fashioned england midfielder.
I remember the old days whenever he got the ball around opponent's box, we were standing, off the chair, prepare to see something magical, long distance screamer.
When he got older, he was developing lampard runs ability (late run in the box, finding space) and become goalscoring machine. He was smarter in the game, more wise and calm, and the sad thing was, we rarely seeing him doing what he did the best: long distance shot. Chelsea's best ever.

I would take Frank even at the age of near 40 above all the midfielders (maybe not kante, but Frank was never defensive midfield). To understand that he was let go to make room for Cesc to gingerly walk around the pitch gets me every time. Hope Ross will be given a chance to replicate even half of how great Frank was!
