Awesome video......Shawn Lane was and still is without a doubt one of the most terrifying guitarists period.He wrote all of his music on piano and then put it to guitar so that means he could do all that crazy stuff on the piano

Same here, 1985. It is THE best! Replaced the light, foot switch, and tube a few times. I wouldn’t take $1000 for it.
Just picked up a TD-1 for $80, I have a TO-2 I’m going to A/B it with to see how different they really are. Nice Shawn Lane tones there btw, going to try it with my JS2400 as well lol.🎸🔥👍🏽

Great old effect Had my TO-2 Guyatone pedal for 20 years runs on 240volts here in Australia bit noisy awesome tone though.
That sounds ridiculous man, been thinking about importing one from Japan for the longest time and running it with a step transformer. (Voltage is about 230 in the UK). Sounds usable across the whole range of gain but was sounding unreal at about 7 mins in! Great demo man.
I have owned my TD-1 for almost 40 years and it’s STILL so great. Had to replace the light, foot switch, and tube a couple times. Bought from a friend who brought it back from Japan. He regrets selling. Run, don’t walk, to your nearest on line vendor and get it! You won’t regret it.
That guitar has a vowel like quality to it, or at least the bridge pup does.
