It's good to see that younger people are appreciating classic cars and trucks. Keep it up cause when us old guys are gone someone needs to keep it going. Love the truck.
I think it's awesome that he's into older trucks. I have an older truck. it's not old old but it's almost 30 years old and I can totally relate to enjoying the simplicity of it. He did a lot of work to that truck which I think is awesome too
Love the collaboration guys! Its cool to see my favorite C-10 You-Tubers connecting. As a newbie to the C-10 scene I've come to appreciate these trucks...no matter how they come. Keep up the great work fellas!
That young man reminds me of myself when I was his age. I was 16 when I purchased my ‘68 GMC. That was 33 years ago and I still own it, and I still drive it.
Awesome Trucks , I've owned five 1967-72 GMC & Chevy Trucks. I've owned five square body Chevy & GMC Trucks . I can appreciate the love for love of Classics Trucks and all the hard work it entails to put them on the road again or simply making modifications. I love the young man into older Trucks , keep up the hard work on your truck , beautiful Truck.
Looks like Stone knows exactly what he wants for his C/10. It's lookin great so far. Glad to see he wants to stick with a small block. It's kinda like sticking to the truck's roots. Kudos to you Stone!
Man, he's been at it for longer than I have (and actually has more subscribers), but we both knew that each of our audience would love to see us do something together. Plus we had a blast!
Love the video! Nice to see the younger generation enjoying and preserving these trucks...and knowledgeable, too! Stone's not just quoting from something he read in a magazine, rather from hands on experience...that's the best teacher! I like the fact that they are comfortable and real on camera...pretty cool guys for sure!😎😎😎😎😎
My brother had a 1984 Silverado ,very dark blue with a white roof and lower section , blue cloth interior and loaded with all the options . Came from the dealer with polished aluminum running boards and bead rails and white steel modular wheels . I loved that truck with that color combo .
Just got a 79’ Chevy K20 with a 4 speed granny low first transmission. Awesome project truck! Got it from the original owner, who drove it daily until 2010, when he got a new half ton Chevy. According to him, the odometer has rolled over 3 times, which means it has 394,000 miles on it. Engine is a 350 that has been rebuilt. Everything else is original.
Exactly that's why I love my 87 Chevy Silverado V10. Something breaks it starts acting funny I can change it out. get a new part whip out Papa's tools God Rest his soul and get to work. It's also cool because it's like my father's here with me helping me working on the old Chevy.
I follow both channels and am impressed with Stone's direction. It is good to see collaboration of two great channels. Y'all just need to hook Momma Dean up with her Prostreet 65 C 10 and get her channel off the ground.
Really cool to hear him talk like that man especially as me being an old cat see if he's going to lower it like 2 and 4 thanks for sharing with me buddy
I agree with Young Chevy Truck on the simplicity of the old school truck without an LS. I'm rebuilding a 1981 Corvette from the frame up to be pro touring and wanted to go with an aftermarket fuel injection set up but thought the same thing of "what if a sensor goes wrong". I decided to go with a 750 double pumper because I know I can limp a carb engine home when there is a problem (if it's not too far) and not have to wait on a tow truck to pick me up. But saying that I do have a Z/28 LS1 with 4 speed overdrive transmission waiting for the next project and I have always wanted a square body.
I had a 1980 silverado that my friends and I built a 383 stroker back in 98 it had a 650 holly double pumper with a 12 bolt 411 that was a perfect set up. Thanks for the video nice truck!
Four Speed Films for real! I would love for you to teach me some of your video skills and collab with you and Craig. Let me know if you’re ever on the East Coast.
I am not 100% sure but it looks like the left vacuum port on the carb (where the vacuum advance normally goes) is open @5.27, it would probably cause a lean condition which could be causing the rough running its having, I might be wrong but I figured it was worth mentioning.
One of my favorite vehicles ever was an 81 Silverado that looked a lot like this 84. Very similar engine set up and everything. I loved that truck. Keep it up young man. I already subscribed to his channel.
Man I love both of you guys channel. I’m a local here in Georgia. With an 84 c10 with an ls swap. Would love to meet both of you great guys. Keep up the great work! And keep the videos rolling!
Great video, love Whitlock garage and young Chevy truck. I also own an 84 Silverado long bed with a 305 named Bonita. Currently in the shop, hope to drive her soon. Keep up the good work fellas!
Im 14 and ive got a 1977 Chevy 3/4 ton and it sat for 20 years and I bought it with all of my money and got it running and I’ve done TONS of work to that sucker
Whitlock Garage yea.. it’s definitely been a learning experience for sure one of the first things I had to do was pull the axles to do the wheel cylinders in the back
Whitlock Garage I’ve also got a 67 c10 small back window long bed that my dad gave me.. currently got couple of my motors taken apart and trying to save for parts lol
Hey from Winder - @youngchevytruck truck looking good sir! Glad to see you on this channel! Following both of ya’ll. Enjoying both channels. Need to get my 74 J10 with sbc 350 on RUclips. Restoring now.
That’s a pretty cool truck! I think you guys would like my truck too! With a few tweaks that truck will run really good! The tru trac diff is the way to go! That’s what I have in my truck, after blowing 2 other differentials!

Hey great channel, really love it! I’m pretty new but have seen lots of ur videos, great and relevant content. Can u find a friend or someone u know that can share in info on the 1990- 1993 454ss Chevy sport truck. God bless you and ur love for these fine American muscle trucks.
Sometimes, like a lot of times, when you buy a truck, you're not checking all of that out if you really want the truck. The motor can always be changed. I'm pretty confident he knows where the casting numbers are. Thanks for always being so positive.
Thanks fr the heads! I'll definitely look at USA1. Not a huge LMC fan. And yea, this my first diesel so I'm pumped to get it running and learn more about it.
It's good to see that younger people are appreciating classic cars and trucks. Keep it up cause when us old guys are gone someone needs to keep it going. Love the truck.
That's our mission, Dwight! Thanks for tuning in.
If you like this then you'd like "the Craig"
Good to see I’m not the only 21 year old with an old truck
I have an 88 c1500 Silverado and I'm 20 years old.

Todd Adams i will most definitely take that as a compliment! 👊🏼

Exactly!
I hear ya, i just picked up a farm tru ck from the original owner. 79 C10, straight 6 3 spd + low on the floor , custom deluxe baby
It's really nice to see a young man that has love for his mother and to be such a nice spirited person.
