The look on TTR face when it busted off was priceless..the happiness and joy he expressed was well worth it. That's what friendship is all about.. great video guys.
that look of pure joy that ron got when he fired it up was worth a million bucks. i would have watched the whole thing and even if i got nothing out of it, it was worth seeing how happy and proud he is of his hard work! beautiful build man, well done guys
I really like the fact that it was a clean video without foul language at all. Thumbs up on the LS swap. Gotta have a United by Trucks T shirt and sticker......
As another Whitlock who is into trucks I have enjoyed your videos on the LS conversions. My son in law has a '90 K20 Suburban that we are talking about putting an LS into and your videos are very helpful. Thanks
Yahoo well done team👍.The look on Ron's face when he turned the key and the LS fired up was priceless 😂 just like a proud dad. Thoroughly enjoyed watching these videos of the LS swap and seeing you guys getting along so well, great team effort and a specially to you Robbie for bringing it to us.
Allan Taylor that was my first motor build. So a lot of time and money was resting on that key switch. I was just hoping it fired off and didn’t make any weird noises.
Wow, I wish I had a group of old truck enthusiasts like u guys. Look like a great time!! Just hanging and working on trucks, helping each other out👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What makes this video great is that you guy's are always helping one another out on these projects, going to truck/cars shows together true friends. On a personal note congratulations on your ls swap TTR I'll see you guy's at one of these truck/car shows in the near future.
AWESOME JOB!!! I'll be checking back in on these videos of this build 100 times while I'm doing my own. Thanks so much for all the detail in this swap!
TWO TRUCKS RON!!!!! Congrats on the swap! my 15y/o son and I are getting ready to swap his 72, and we just finished building a 6.0 for his 13y/o little brothers 64! we love watching videos like this, keep banging!
Great job guys. Truck sounds wicked!!!! A lot of attention to detail, and it sure shows in the final product. Great group of guys wish i could of been there too!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
I got a 85 Chevy C10. I would love you LS swap it. Watching this video and watching his reaction and how good it runs makes me want to do it even more. Congrats on everything Ron
You guys have a brotherhood, truck family love that! Finally got my 84 square body from the shop on the 1st. Have to replace the flex plate on the 305. Only has 95,000 miles. Planning an Ls swap in the future.
Congratulations TTR! I know how you feel. Mines in the process of the engine coming back together. cam, lifts, valve springs swapped out. Now time to put heads back on and get everything torqued down and ready to sit in the s10.
That's sweet! TTR put this whole engine together by himself, no video camera or nothing. Just him and his tools. So cool to see it come together like it did.
Awesome guys working together to put another awesome truck together Kansas truck guy said it rite great group of guys coming together helping each other out is hard to come by
I just watched the 4 episodes on the LS swap of TTR's square body....I liked it. Congrats on getting it going, now you've given me some ideas.....expensive ideas, but hey.....thx guys
Great swap guys! I've always wanted to LS swap my 82, but due to unexpected circumstances.. it hasn't happened. I've owned this SWB since 89 and done the complete build to what it is today back in 2000. Twenty four years later, and still no swap! LoL I'm going on 60 years of age, not sure if i'll ever see it done.
I got a little emotional as well haha I imagined myself finish my LS Swap as well. I Will finish mine soon with lots of hard work, determination, and most of all patience.
About to start one on a good buddy of mines 86, doing a 6.0/4l60e. I really enjoyed the video and would like to see more on the ac as we will also be keeping the ac in his truck. Thanks again, great job fellas
Sweet swap guys. I recommend getting the intake outside the engine compartment. AIT is 150*+ with open air filter. I grab air from where the blower motor used to be and see only 10* hotter than outside air. It helps but nobody bothers. Just a thought. Rock on!
Cool truck. Can't wait to get my 87 c10 on the road. Looked up Cato's upholstery shop from a previous video and will be checking them out real soon. Love the channel! 👍👍
Congratulation on the fire up sounds great looks great I'm going to pull out the 1984 squarebody today original Engine original transmission have a blessed day have a blessed day peace
You guys did a great job. I got a 1986 c10 short bed I’m putting a 6.0 ls out of my 2500hd. The engine has 375,545 miles on it runs great no problems, would y’all recommend me doing a cam swap with the miles that’s on my engine Thank you
The best part of all this is hanging out with friends and family.
Titan92 completely agree!
