Me too! Remember people would give cars nicer than this to the junkyard less than 10 yrs old and buy a new one. Killed me as a 70s kid to see cool cars and engines crushed
Fav yr truck also, many of my cars were 67 Love the white grille, GMC emblem. 2 grandfatehrs bought those new, learned to drive when I was 12 on his Alfalfa ranch in NM. Had the 305 V6. Wish I had your fab skills, didnt know an S10 column could work. Kick arse truck im loving it!
@@WayneMontes-mh7bp 4L80e is stronger, but 700r4 and 4L60e has a deeper first, and taller OD. Just depends what you're planning to do with it. A 4L60e is great for just cruising around and better OD if you'll be driving a lot on the highway. If you're going to be racing you probably want the stronger transmission
Check out joying head units. On the ones where the face pops off and has a ribbon cable you could make something to mount the unit behind the dash and the face on the front. The run the ribbon cable through the stock hole
The recession when everyone was loosing everything you could pick old cars trucks up cheap. Or people would just move out and leave them in the back yard.
@@travenstokes Have family in Eagle...wouldnt mind moving there I just hope it isnt overcrowded and too expensive (coming from Ca). So scenic up there, gotta be some dam good fishing too!
