I love these Blazers I have a K5 Blazer and I have a 2 wheel drive Blazer but if the four wheel drives are considered K series and the two wheel drives are considered C series then wouldn't these be considered C5 Blazers
No sir. I've answered this quite a few times and even in these threads. GM never called, designated, badged, or otherwise a 2wd blazer as a C5. That's a corvette. In fact, GM badged some 2wd blazers as k5s. The consistency of designations in trucks did not translate over to full-size blazers.
Does the k5 4x4 have the 2 low transfer case? If it does it is rare people pay good money for them I got a idea for a engine find a 350 bore it out to make a 383 long tube header mutha thumper camshaft roller rockers edlebrock carb electric ignition just a idea you might like
If you watch the whole video, i discuss it multiple times. The 4 link isn't finished in the rear so when you move it it floats around under the blazer.

@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS Ok thanks Robby very much for the info sorry about all the questions I just want my truck to look like the ones you and your buddy's work on good job O by the way where can I get a Cap & shirt from UNITED BY TRUCKS.😎
@@87sqbdy64 no bother at all! Happy to help. You can get all the UBT gear you want at www.unitedbytrucks.com
Then fine I'm just going to build mine into an SS 454
Does the k5 4x4 have the 2 low transfer case? If it does it is rare people pay good money for them I got a idea for a engine find a 350 bore it out to make a 383 long tube header mutha thumper camshaft roller rockers edlebrock carb electric ignition just a idea you might like
I'm actually unsure ab TC. Haven't made it that far into it. Sounds like a good idea on the motor.
Sweet🤙🏻
Thanks, man!
Does the 4x4 K5 have 373? If it does do you want to get rid of em? Lookin forward to watching this project come together
Thanks! The rearend in that blazer is actually bad. One reason I got it so inexpensively.
Bout time! Ain't that a Jimmy tho?
Yes, it is, technically.
My dad had a 1980 jimmy 2 wheel drive and i sold 1970 factory 2 wheel drive last summer
Wheweeee! You've seen the best then.
hey man are you a widespread panic fan by chance.. i feel as if i have seen you at a concert before!?!?
haha I'm not but I do like concerts. My musical taste is all over the place though.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS well def check them out!! Great Georgia band!
Beautiful c10s! U should bought a squarebody c10
Thanks!
So many squares. I got a chub
Yeah, it was pretty ridiculous. And I had to cut some of them out bc the video was going to be an hour or more.
That's fine. I can look at them all day got a few in the yard right now between me and my brother
You need to center the rear axle. It looks like it a little to much the front of wheel well.
No doubt about it. If you watch the video, you'll know why its that way and our plan to address it.
Can’t see much of it, but that 4 link looks pretty hack. I’d rather just toss some leafs back under it, but it’s your build.
Likely going with another 4 link and a watts link. We're bagging it so definitely not going back with leafs.
why is the rear end sittin so far forward in the wheelwell?
If you watch the whole video, i discuss it multiple times. The 4 link isn't finished in the rear so when you move it it floats around under the blazer.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS U gonna BAG it??????????? know this site???????????? www.67-72chevytrucks.com
I love all y'all videos but I would like to see the red truck that the man that owns the form form that's all the trucks at I would love to see y'all build him that truck with a ls motor an have some nice rims like teddy got on it an loweerd
Thank you! He's building one right now.
Interested in the spare tire carrier on the NC Blazer if available. Great content BTW!
That's my favorite part about the '86! It's most definitely staying. Thanks for tuning in!

I have my eye on a 1978 chevy c30 should I get it?
Please do!
Hey man, I live in NC and will like to contact Keenan to see if he can work on my K5.
Man I love it!! I have a 4wd K5 that I would like to convert to 2wd. How'd you find Kenan? Does he have anything else for sell? I'm not that far from him!
I'm sure he does. I found the blazer on facebook marketplace. Shoot me an email and I'll check with him about sharing his info. unitedbytrucks@gmail.com
UNITED BY TRUCKS thanks man! Come to find out that’s my buddy’s long time friend....we’re going to hook up and go out to his place so I can get the tour you got and do a little shopping!!
Awsome project let me know if I can ever help
Thanks, man!
I have a 1962 Chevy short bed the back bed big fenders and it has a straight 6 cylinder 3 gears and reverse the truck is for somebody the wants to have like a hobby to fix it up its original I want to sell it but I don't know how much is worth can you tell me
How did they get the rear end so far forward in the rear wheel well?
Rear end wasn’t bolted up properly
what I noticed that majority of time people don't think on checking and fixing the frame on a car or truck. mainly people would always go after the body sadly
The frame and chassis are the foundation of any truck for me. Gotta start there and work your way up.
Bucket list 2wd? I got my 90 Suburban 4x4 with 113k miles for $800.
Yup and very cool.
Do you know what exhaust that Ls Swapper c10 had? It was mean sounding
I don't right off hand but I suspect it was dual 50 series flow masters. 2.5 inch pipe.
Never heard of someone's drink truck being a 2 wheel drive Blazer
You must not be a c10 guy with kids or the need for cargo room. haha
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS I drive a 83 single cab C10 and I have one son and another baby on the way
