What FPS is this Peter? I'm going to Central at the crack of dawn and hope to do 18 hours of footage. I love the speed of this video it's perfect...so to plan my day I really would appreciate the FPS rate. Is it 24? Thanks AJ
Hi, you know it depends. I use full-manual settings of exposure. During night timelpses it's sometimes hard if you have exposure time more then 10 seconds because you must set timer at least 12 seconds. solution is use high ISO and set timer to 5-7 seconds. during the day in rush places you can set timer to shoting each 2,3 seconds. 5 seconds is sometimes to much. Well, the best way how you can explore the best setting for various scenes is take your camera out and try it ;o)
Very impressive, which camera did you use??? I am surprised you have not had more views than this I live just 30 minutes from Central London so I know these places and the difficulties of filming
***** I see that is the same camera that I use.... but I use a 17-40 lense, will be buying a panasonic 920 camcorder soon to make some extended time lapse.
David Pyatt well Canon 17-40 is amaizng lens, but I love wide-angle lenses ;o) I want to buy some fisheye lens somewhere around 8mm ;o) I thing, that for night footages is good choice 5d m3 ;o)
Quite simply, superb!
Congratulations on putting together a short film which illustrates the beauty of London.
Thank you for this, Peter. Reminds me of my last trip to London in November 2012.
Great work!
Appreciate your efforts and hard work.
Thanks ;o)

Hi yes I think you are correct, for long time lapses it might be better to use a HD video camera as canon Dslr has a shutter life
Good work !
Do you mind if I use some of these images in a project I'm creating?
Good Job!!!
