I spend some month in London last year and I can't stop to watching this awesome video with this lovely song. Ton travail est remarquable. Bonne continuation Kornel :) !
You'd have to get pretty fussy to find any faults with this movie, you've got a brilliant piece of work on your hands here. Only thing I'd suggest (and this is, admittedly, a stretch) is to play the sequence with the train from :30-:42 backwards....if you can't get to the front of the train and need the rear window it's always much better to look at where you're going opposed to where you've been. But we're splitting hairs here, each sequence was composed extremely well....take a bow, my friend
Really good work, nicely composed video, works well with the music too! The shot from the Millenium Bridge that is a bit shaky would look much better with some stabilisation added I think - just some advice, hope it helps! :)
Great video!!! It looks really good, and I think the timelapses are awesome! I am currently doing a similar project myself. I was wondering, you know the first timelapse shot from (southbank?) I think, is that using a relatively long exposure to in a way blur out the people? Also, the shot of the Millenium Bridge is great, as said ^^ shame about stability, was that an issue with the tripod or just the bridge moving? Really Fab work!!
Hey Kornel, truly stunning footage, would it be possible to get permission to use some of it in a independent music film clip, full credit to you of course
The shot was taken in front of evelina children's hospital north wing. Exposure time 2 s . The problem on the Millennium bridge was not the tripod (i set it up low and weight it down with aprox 20+ lb), the bridge is flexible and every foot step is visible on the shoot, i had same problem with the clip in 1:47 also shoot on a bridge with people running on it it was rely shaky but there was many buildings in the shot so the stabilising was easy.
How did you get the shots within the train in the tube? Did you just film and hope for the best or did you ask for permission cause i would like to film something like this for my degree film.
basically go to the first carriage on a station where the train terminates ore starts the run, set everything up on a tripod and start the time lapse once the train leaves. I just sat down next to the camera holding the tripod with my leg, not messing with the camera and no one was saying anything:)
All movements are done in adobe after effects due to the fact that i shoot the time lapse in full res jpg i can zoom in quite a bit before loosing anny quality:)
I tried to stabilise it but the software goes crazy from the amount of motion and colors in the frame and the results where bad. Thats my first time lapse movie, just started playing with it and after effects, more coming soon.

Fair enough, not bad for a first timelapse though! :) What tube station appears in the second sequence of the TL?

Hi. But every carriage have driver's seat at both ends, isnt it?Therefore, there are doors that blocks in your way.
So how did you get this shot?
Nice work. Did you use ND filters/Longer shutter speed for the daytime shots?
Bardzo dobre. Gratuluję.
A jak to jest z uzywaniem statywu w centrum Londynu. Podobno są jakieś zakazy?

It's good!;)
Where are you shooting from at 00:45 ?
Generalnie tylko w metrze i muzeach mogą się przyczepić a tak jak robisz to w celach nie komercyjnych nie robią problemu.
Dzięki:)
How was he able to do the train shots in london? Was he just at the back of the train shooting through the window?
The DLR 'Docklands Light Railway' in London is automated and no driver is needed so passengers can sit and the very front and end of carriages.
DarylAshleyFilms It wasn't dlr mate, it look like the Northern Line carriage. great time-lapse btw
It was awhile ago but I was on about the footage at 30 seconds as that is DLR?
greenwich park in london:)
Thats Clapham Common on the northern line
