I know it's way out of London but there is a working roperary in Chatham historic dockyard . The rope walk is covered and very long they used to use bikes to get from one end to the other. It's over 200 years and the rigging for the Victory was made there (as was the Victory)

depends on what you're looking for specifically, and part of the beauty of London markets is the huge mix of cuisines you'll find. Most markets stalls these days take card, I don't ever really have cash on me and never have a problem!

great video. hubby and i love flea markets to look for "stuff". particularly, he collects old toys, pokemon cards, etc. we are thinking of doing the borough and vinegar yard on a saturday. we would be taking the tube from heathrow (staying at the hilton right there on the airport grounds). so...is this doable? (hubby has some mobility issues ie slow walking but he is excited to find there are flea markets so might be motivated to step it up a bit) can we get there using the tube and then maybe taxi between the two? thanks for all the great content you create!
@loveandlondon Yes if you go into London Bridge station, you'd be able to do both. They're fairly close but you can taxi between the two if you find you're having mobility troubles. We recommend going into Borough first though (as soon as it opens) because it gets BUSY on a weekend. Borough isn't as much a flea market though - more food. For more 'flea' market recommendations, we suggest Spitalfields (antiques on Thursdays) and Portobello Road Market (Fri & Sat).

I found the Vinegar Yard last year, it was amazing ! I happened upon it accidentally haha didn’t disappoint!!l had some great food and there was live music playing at the time 💕
