I'm totally lost... Who thinks that Brad is a bad drummer? Do you guys just not take him seriously because he's funny? His groove is great and his chops are some of the cleanest i've heard. I don't quite understand all the hate..
He is a decent drummer and this was actually a pretty funny video. But yeah, this is nothing compared to a professional drummer (atleast in this video, didnt watch any other yet). Hes drumkit sounds like shit and he was most times off.

Joking aside, this guy plays every song so effortlessly and rarely misses a single note. Never have I seen a person pay so much attention to every little fill and ghost note. He nails it. For those that wanna watch someone with a deep understanding of rudiments and how to properly play, pay attention folks!!!
You guys say what you will about this dude...but he swings these tunes like a big band leader and has the chops and ears to back it up and a perfect personality for what he does (us drummers have to be a little out there; it's who we are). He would make almost any band a success. He's really too good for this dumb music but makes this stuff (ok if you are about 13 years old...) somewhat stomach-able with his talent. Just from seeing what he can do here I bet he could play "burn" by Deep Purple/Ian Pace note for note and if you think that's an easy one you all purpose drum critics out there need to try that one. I can hear Pace's influence on him even through these bubble gum songs. Get over the pop bimbo dude and join a real band deserving of your talents and the phone call you are looking for will eventually be irrelevant...
Yeah he violated the restraining order and is currently in jail…but until he is out, and paramore realizes it was all a big misunderstanding & gets the restraining order lifted, Aaron Gillespie is filling in for him...
