I feel paramore fans have been coming out of the woodwork because of the songs going viral on TikTok for sure, but I know so many people I grew up with loved paramore and always have. They’ve been a beloved band of of many of us who grew up in the 00’s.
And I mean EVERYONE I grew up with loved them
Yeah you guys give tik tok too much credit. I don't even have one. Could have sworn it was meant for kids, but that's just 1 woman's opinion 🤷♀️
Also so many of us younger fans (like who had the older sibs introduce us) can afford tickets so it’s a different playing ground
Zac said at the end they talked with MCR when they were at WWWY but your telling me not a single person took a picture of it!! That seems like something worthy of taking a picture of!!

I love the space Paramore has taken, the voice that they bring to the world and how they evolved over time. As we all do, life is about evolution and looking back to see how far we've come, as individuals, as a couple, as friends, as a band. I'm here for it. All of it.

I love Hayley’s reaction to people being assholes about dealing with each other at a show. I was at the Oklahoma City show where they stopped 3 or 4 times. People need to enjoy the moment and not tell you to move because you’re in the way of them videotaping the whole show. Put your phone down enjoy the music and respect each other. 👀

literally saw Paramore during their first album "all we know is falling" at a VERY small venue near my hometown in Orangevale, CA when they were still growing and my life is forever changed.
Shout out to the Bwalk! -what a place to see them too!
@@joshb9817 Yes that's the place! Some of my best memories of my high school years were spent at the little venue! It was so special seeing them that close up and for an album that means the world to me.
Great interview! I've loved Paramore since 2005. They were the reason I also wanted to be in a band. Hayley has been a big inspo for me. Can't wait to see them in Toronto in summer 2023!

Paramore was my first concert!! I'm a Nebraskan, they came to Iowa and I was blown away!!
Saw them at the when we were young festival in Las Vegas they were amazing. Had been on the bucket list since I was 13 I’m 25 now love them.
I love Paramore I've seen them four or five times. I'm super thankful I got to see them back in the heyday like 06 to 09

Honestly, Paramore got me through my high school years, I’m 30 now.
Ever since ALL WE KNOW IS FALLING 🥹❤️
Being a black girl band geek who LOVES all kinds of music, there wasn’t as much people who were REAL Paramore fans that I knew.
I mean even during all the break up get back together “drama” I have seen them truly transform as musical artists.
And I LOVE every version of them, as all real fans do I had to adjust a little to certain sounds but they have always been a complex sounding band and under rated beyond Hayley’s singing I mean honestly just an amazing band, I LOVE EVERY PART OF THEM!
I saw them in Florida in November it was amazing and plan on seeing them again this year.

I've been a fan of these guys since I discovered them while playing The Sims 2 back in 2008 (of all places), the game had Pressure as one of the songs you could play in the jukebox and I immediately fell in love. I always say that I was a fan of Paramore even before I was old enough to understand what their lyrics meant, their music helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life and I can't put into words how much they mean to me. I can't believe I'm finally seeing them live for the first time in March. Thanks for the great interview!

Yeah!! I was thinking the same thing! He never got to speak before, but he's so confident now and he's hilarious too. I love that he's getting more space in the band (and that Taylor gets to stay away which he wants to).

The fighting and aggression aspect of shows is really new to me but I had my own negative experience seeing Paramore at When We Were Young. I purchased VIP tickets and waited for 6 hours at the same stage in anticipation to see them live for the first time. Some girl approaches just before they come on and is trying to get to the front (there were only like 1 or 2 people ahead of us) and puts all of her body weight on me to shove her way forward. I was so surprised that I snapped at her and fortunately she was cowardly and backed off but it was so unsettling how aggressive people can be, even when you're standing at the front with THOUSANDS of people behind you. I wonder if people are getting in fights because they're too hardcore of fans and they get selfish about being in front. Weird.
I was wondering about who would fight at a Paramore show, but I can sort of see it happening.
When you're on the ground level, and if you want to get closer, you have to kind of push forward in a way.
It's easier at a Metal show, because someone will be crowd surfing, I'll tell everyone "Heads Up," and I'll use the surfer to go forward and then launch the person.

I’m not the biggest fan of the ppl giving the interviews… asking for tickets and making jokes abt selling merch like they’re not already pretty well off financially and you can see how uncomfortable the question about tickets to a Taylor show makes them. Like read the room…
After watching how Zane Lowe asks questions and leaves them an open and safe space, this seems really uncomfortable to watch. I’m not a fan.

Damn. Paramore really is amazing. I remember I started listening to them back in 2006 and with that Summer Tic EP. Does someone still remember that EP?? Then so many female-fronted pop/punk/emo bands were popping up, but Paramore is the only one that stood strong like the last one standing and persevered to this day.

OMG, so glad they're back. And so glad they're continuing to evolve. Every album is like Christmas all over again. Something new and awesome to listen to on repeat for a year. Can't wait for the whole album!! Maybe I'm different, but my go to Jam from Riot! was always Born For This. And then the way they opened with it on Final Riot really cemented it. Misery Business is awesome, but it wasn't the best song on that album for me.

I would say her and Avril Lavigne are both queens in this genre. I love Avril's new album. She killed it with Travis Barker.

I'm a new fan (yeah I know where the hell have I been?) that has become obsessed with their music in the last 4 months. "This Is Why" is just an amazing track and can't wait for the new album. Also, very cool that Justin Hawkins' youtube channel gets a mention, love him and that EP where he talked about the song/video was awesome.
