Sounds like more of a luxury signing. Develop the young guys and stick with the vets under contract, safety is not a real need right now. Another LB or run-stopping DT is a much bigger need.
I have about 10 different baseball hats I wear. I dont wear them to "signal" I like that team. I do it because I like that hat. People have to stop trying to make something out of nothing.
I only wear hats of the teams I support.

NFLPA has allowed this to get outta hand. The ultimate team game has turned n2 only 5 guys per team getting paid. These 5 guys per team are so freaking greedy that they take all the $, then want the other 48 guys to give it their all for pennies. Its dumb to even let your kids play football anymore. They don't pay the best players, they pay certain positions

Dak, CeeDee, will get new contracts before the season starts. M. Parsons next season gets a new contract. Jerry is not going to blow up a 10+ win team every year. His ego will never allow that. Dak, CeeDee, Parsons, are core all pro players in the NFL. Blow up the team is clickbait and silly talk. Cowboys need to upgrade their playoff playbook, because the other teams have figured out what they do best.
FACTS
Jerry needs to sign lamb and Parsons that should be there first thing to worry about and then get a good RB

The players played with more love for the game back when they still had jobs and used the NFL as a side gig. Where is the motivation if nowadays they get paid most of their contract regardless? Some of these players love being hurt, being around the team getting paid and not having to do anything all year and some players love to play

It's a moot point now. There's not much left to sign and it's clear they've decided to play out the season as is and reboot everything next year.
If Dak can miraculously lose his January yips & actually accomplish something this year, then maybe they'll try to sign him.. but the smartest thing would've been to trade him for picks & let Lance/Rush play this year.. it would've likely been a lost year, but so is every Dak playoff choke job🤷🏼♂️
