I wrote this in the chat (but it got lost in the mix) but the chapstick and eye shadow hack is a real hack, however, it's more effective and doesn't ruin your eye shadow if you do it differently. What you want to do is scrape off a bit of eye shadow and a bit of chapstick and mix them together on a pallet (or the back of your hand) and then apply it!
On Halloween I needed blue lipstick, so I put concealer on my lips then brushed my eyeshadow into it and it honestly worked better than some of my actual lipsticks.
I've used eyeshadow to "seal" lipstick that was a bit gooey and never set and it looked great! Putting lipstick, chapstick, or gloss on your lips and then patting eyeshadow on is definitely the way to go for this hack.
Guys please keep doing these streams, they are really helping me to relax in the evenings. Keeping your content relaxing and unoffensive is a real talent these days. You might think it's just lighthearted videos but by helping me sleep you are quite literally helping my mental health. Thank you.

I kind of appreciate how the broccoli freckles mimic both dirt on the face and a mild sunburn-makes it seem like Safiya and Tyler spent the day outside gardening instead of engaging in questionable hack testing.
I was thinking the same about the look of a sunburn - it reminded me of the episode of Stargate SG-1 ("The Fifth Race") where Sam and Teal'c go to a planet in the hope of helping O'Neill and get trapped there with a very hot sun rising. On the video screen when speaking to Stargate Command, Sam's face looked exactly like Safiya and Tyler's do!
Back in the 70’s when I was a poor college student, I often used lip balm and eyeshadow but I would put on the LB and then brush on the eyeshadow, we would also mix food coloring with cornstarch instead of the eyeshadow
I also make a lot of my own makeup (mostly FX), and I just tried this, and my kitchen is blue, my hands are blue, my teeth are blue, but most importantly, my lips are blue. And I don't even wear blue lipstick! Thank you for sharing, I am sure it will come in handy for one costume or another.

I feel like Tyler's personality adds so much to this stream, maybe yall could try to be a little nicer to him? It just seems like yall don't find his humor funny, which is fine, but the shade is unnecessary. It's fine to not do things perfectly, but instead with a good effort. The blue lipstick part was made awkward for literally no reason.
I went to a nice hotel in Mexico with large orange tile floors in the bedroom. My feet were surprisingly tar black by bedtime and the sheets where bright white. I wet a hand towel with micellar water, and it was like a power washing video my feet were so clean with one wipe, the hand towel looked like it came out of a mechanics workshop though.
The crazy part about the "curling hair in a bottle with the hairdryer" is that we just watched a WatchMojo video tonight, about "Top 10 Worst As Seen on TV Items" and there was an actual product in it called "Air Curler"!

The toilet paper one, I actually used to use a giant scrunchie around my ponytail, fountain the hair and then swirl it around and it works perfectly haha. And I'm a hairdresser so
I will say that I have put eyeshadow on my lips before. Usually I don't put the balm on the shadow though because I don't want to ruin it. So I apply the shadow to the lips, then the balm.
These streams are so great to put on as background noise while I do other things. It's like hanging out with my buddies. :)

I've been using "clear/beige" lipstick and eyeshadows for years but not in this exact way. First I put the lipstick on my lips and then I use my finger to tap the eyeshadow on and it really covers the lips with any colour I want and also it stays opaque for a long time. It's similar to matte lipsticks, they stay good looking for longer time than creme/shiny ones. Colourful lipsticks have not been sold in my country for a long time and now they are still really expensive, so this is the way to have green or blue lips although you can't buy it. Actually the one colour I really like and suits me is really hard to find here. Not even years of looking for it helped, so this is the way to have this shade of green until the time I finally find the exact shade of lipstick I want.

I've done the chapstick/eyeshadow lipstick before. Put the chapstick on. Pat the eyeshadow on with a finger. It stayed all night - it even survived eating a pizza.
I do the eyeshadow hack but to save both the eyeshadow and the chapstick/ lipgloss, I put the chapstick or gloss on first, put the shadow pigment on my finger and gently pat it onto the glossy lip. It works well honestly but doesn’t last long. It easier for more neutral tones that are close to the lip colour. The naked urban decay pallet chess kiss for lip tones lol.

The reason the chapstick eyeshadow one is different is because they used metallic eyeshadow. Metallics typically don't change colour when "wet".

love y'alls videos! I've been watching all the streams so far! Something that could be cool is a camera for above shots. especially for seeing content in bowls. or even just the zoom in camera at higher elevation? Something to consider. I know I would enjoy that better view at times

The toilet paper one, I actually used to use a giant scrunchie around my ponytail, fountain the hair and then swirl it around and it works perfectly haha. And I'm a hairdresser so
I will say that I have put eyeshadow on my lips before. Usually I don't put the balm on the shadow though because I don't want to ruin it. So I apply the shadow to the lips, then the balm.

These streams are so great to put on as background noise while I do other things. It's like hanging out with my buddies. :)
I've been using "clear/beige" lipstick and eyeshadows for years but not in this exact way. First I put the lipstick on my lips and then I use my finger to tap the eyeshadow on and it really covers the lips with any colour I want and also it stays opaque for a long time. It's similar to matte lipsticks, they stay good looking for longer time than creme/shiny ones. Colourful lipsticks have not been sold in my country for a long time and now they are still really expensive, so this is the way to have green or blue lips although you can't buy it. Actually the one colour I really like and suits me is really hard to find here. Not even years of looking for it helped, so this is the way to have this shade of green until the time I finally find the exact shade of lipstick I want.

I've done the chapstick/eyeshadow lipstick before. Put the chapstick on. Pat the eyeshadow on with a finger. It stayed all night - it even survived eating a pizza.

I do the eyeshadow hack but to save both the eyeshadow and the chapstick/ lipgloss, I put the chapstick or gloss on first, put the shadow pigment on my finger and gently pat it onto the glossy lip. It works well honestly but doesn’t last long. It easier for more neutral tones that are close to the lip colour. The naked urban decay pallet chess kiss for lip tones lol.
