Called the blue carpenter bee everyone likes to hold them if u wanna to put your hand in front of his face and he will flop his little blue Floof on over onto your hand he might fly off tho they’re not very aggressive but they don’t like being picked up with tweezers or the pinch and pick up option they also don’t like u by their nests so yea they will like to drink sugar water off your hand if you’d like

There's a few different ways things can look blue without using blue pigment. I think birds use thin film interference. I've never seen a blue bee before. I love when I learn about new species. The color blue (as far as I know) is relatively rare in nature, and seeing a BEE having that color, and being as blue as the sky, is so cool to me.
I remember I had a soccer game and after I was subbed out and on the bench, a completely random bee came out of no where and flew straight onto my cheek. I felt something on my cheek and didn’t see the bee when it flew right on me. What happened is it somehow flew it’s stinger straight to my cheek on accident. I pulled it off my cheek and I guess I already gutted it after I ripped it off the stinger that was barbed in my cheek. I pulled the stinger off knowing I shouldn’t just let the venom sink in. After I got a little cream on my cheek for the sting, I came back to the bench and my teamates were dropping the ball over and over on the bee that was already dying on the ground and telling it to do 5 push-ups. Pretty goofy experience but life can be so random.
To be honest.. you took the sting from the blue bee in a more sensitive area on the arm. Props to you Mark for doing this but again do be careful not to overdo it. There’s only so much our human bodies can endure before having really bad reactions to venom. Love the work y’all do and have been a follower of your channel since the beginning.
