The Executioner Wasp is a beautiful gold and amber paper wasp, one of the largest living in the dense jungles of Central and South America. These pollinators, that use their strong mandibles to bring nectar and small caterpillars back to the nest to feed their young, are actually not very aggressive. However, don’t let their level of chill fool you, these speedy wasps pack a seriously powerful punch that can cause major injury and even death with its potential for allergic reactions.

I watched this video around the time it came out… and I can say, I find it crazy that you’re able to do this. This was the video that introduced me to your channel by an algorithmic recommendation.
Personally, I’ve had enough stings in my life… I’m almost 17. When I was 5, I walked by an electrical box at my grandma’s house in Michigan that had a honeybee nest. Long story short, I got at least a dozen stings. At my elementary school 4 years later in Washington, there were yellowjackets and wasps everywhere. All over all the portables, under every roof. Unfinished honeycomb, finished paper nests… there wasn’t a lot of untouched space. And I’ll say, one of the students screamed “hornet!” And I saw it, and I freaked and ran away. But I guess having over a dozen stings from the few times you were stung as a kid being on the same day does that to you, probably safe to say it caused a trauma that was added to by the fact I’ve heard of how painful yellowjackets are.
I haven’t been stung in quite a while now, but I definitely don’t plan on it any time soon, especially now that I live in AZ. Saw a male cow killer one of the last times I visited, glad to know they don’t sting, but a bit leery of the females or a rare rattlesnake sighting… but the part I am the most concerned about? The heat. Not gonna lie, I am a cold person, the heat is not my thing. But I guess I can’t control the fact my dad wanted to move…
