Dude I ll never believe it truly works until u put that "oil" into your car and make it run for a few weeks.
Watching the plastic hose deform with the heat of the fire has me in stitches.
Surly if this was real distilled Petroleum both the hose and its contents would ignite 😂👍
I was just about to comment on that! If that pipe melts altogether it would cause a massive fire!
It is diesel. You don't believe this is true?Google it!
@@StarJackerSRL the video said how to make (petrol) from plastic
I like the way your nice new petrol is passing through the flames in a plastic tube.
For the first time In a long time, I learned something useful on youtube.
There is a guy on another that does it on a larger scale & hes been having problems with not getting it hot anuff to achieve making diesel so i dont get how this guy can make it that easy its more likely about views than making diesel i mean the guy doesn't even get the title write he calls it petrol instead of diesel so id say its bullshit he probably filled it up before the video with diesel Lol

Thank you, I have watched every youtube video about this. This is easily the best one. No flash, no unnecessary info, no BS; just simple easy to follow so anyone can get it. I've seen guys cutting propane tanks, stuffing in plastic then welding the tank back together. A woman making co2 from acid and gravel in a high tech furnace, oh and a boring brit constructing a high temp electric oven to use. Simple pressure cooker for air tight hose to sealed container then a water filtered exhaust. No hassle, anyone can do it no problem. You rock

He got microscopic amount of oil, polluted his own blood with toxic fumes as result. All because his method is too primitive. Lazy fellow did more harm to environment and got microscopic amount of oil as result.
@@saibabagarden Lazy fellow? Are you kidding me? Have you lived in any developing countries? Have you tried sourcing materials in developing countries on an extremely limited budget? The gas fires at refineries could be used to make this fuel from plastic. Those flares of flame we all see at refineries, could be used to do this process, and at the same time heat water to make steam to make electricity.
Is this diesel or gasoline?
Super 🌞👍🏻🌻

Also check to see if the gas exiting the bubbles pipe is flammable. If it is you have flammable gas and liquid fuels plus carbon etc from the dry distillation.

Bro the plastic needs to be clean? Free from dirt and moisture before putting in the pressurized cooker?
Your plastic pipe that was close to fire might just melt. You must keep fire in control or increase height of the pipe. And the liquid it produced is not petrol but diesel.
Actually it is NOT diesel. Diesel will NOT ignite that easily, this is closer to a gasoline (petrol) and diesel mix. But you are correct about the plastic tube melting because it is too close to the heat source!
Copper would be a much better choice...also absorbs and then quickly dissipates heat, hence a condenser instead of just a glass jar in water would produce more fuel, less vapor.
@@Rattlerjake1 that’s right. The volatile part of petrol is not the liquid itself, but the vapours it emits. In a petrol engine, the spark plugs are at the top of the cylinders and they fire once the air and fuel mixture is compressed. Diesel fuel burns at much higher temperatures, and ignites not from a spark, but because of the high temperatures it reaches when compressed in the engine, as the pistons rise higher in the cylinders. Glow plugs are used on startup, but they only heat the diesel up. They don’t emit a spark. It’s not the same kind of thing.
Muito bom
This is great indeed. What do you do with the leftovers?
Bravo !!!!
It really depends on how much fuel is spent and how much is recovered. I mean, if you burnt 10kg of fuel but only recover 4kg from the plastic, then what's the point??

The energy that went into making the fuel is greater than what is returned. Sure, the process can be made super efficient, but over all, you have to burn something (creating carbon pollution) so that you can make fuel that creates more carbon pollution.
This is great in a Mad Max situation, where everything is already hopeless, but in a time where we can't afford to damage our eco system anymore this is not a solution for "recycling" plastic.
Enzymes and algae have the capability to breakdown plastics in a sustainable manner.
I appreciate the demo, not being negative. It was a well made video. I'm just trying to add to the conversation of recycling/upcycling harmful plastics in an environmentally conscientious way. ✌️😊
Very good points, I agree 💚
I agree with you. But it was an experiment. Next time we plan to do it without air pollution

I'd be willing to bet a solar parabolic trough or dish would work as a cleaner, cheaper heat source for distillation. Just a thought.
Cool video. We might all need to know how to do this in the future.
Its odd 2d parabolic solar isnt the obvious standard power plant. Can use waste concrete to store sun and run into darkness. Dont need any advanced or dangerous materials. So why not many already.

How much wood is burnt and how much Petrol is collected, it is required to work out the Heat Balance and Efficiency of the System.
Yes, absolutely. It's all a matter of how much fuel you spend vs how much you get back....
It dosnt matter, liquid fuel has advantages that wood doesnt. I guess it depends on what the individual needs fuel for.

Before loading plastic into boiler first fill 3 or4 spoons with dirty oil or any oil .This speed up all process, as vapor of oil spreads heat at 120 deg Celsius all process require 350 deg Celsius when plastic vaporised. Pay attention, Safety First.

I've seen several vids turning waste plastic into fuel. When you are done extracting fuel, what is the leftover byproduct?

Clean coal. I wanna know too
Plastic is made from crude oil so it is simply the next step in refining. So what is left over should be another byproduct of crude oil.

The Gypsy Journey channel has a similar content video. He generated a lot of fuel, but he had a much larger container, and used a lot more plastic. Same basic technique as yours. He uses the fuel to power his generator, which really is amazing. Thanks for sharing your experiment 👍☺️

Any other chemical is required to add? How much petrol is derrived from 1kg pet bottle.?
very nice job
A proper distillation apparatus will have metal tubing over the fire/heat source instead of plastic hose that could melt and cause a nasty explosion.
It will also have two gas collectors after the liquid collector and before the bubbler vent going out. One turned upside down to collect gasses that are lighter than air and one below it facing up to collect gasses that are heavier than air. Then you need an oxygen sensor after the vent and each gas collector needs to have compressors storing the collected gasses into appropriate containers. Otherwise you are causing some serious pollution
This whole video is bogus.
I agree😂
@@Eidolon1andOnly no its not its definitely true. However the above comme t is correct
@@thomaspaineaccountability The original comment is correct in the fact it said "a true distillation process" but the actual video does not show that, and even uses materials which would not work. Kya is petrol se vehicles chalenge ?
After that pressure cooker will not be able to use for cooking?
I was wondering how would i avoid the tubing melting close to the fire source? Looks like if done for to long, will melt off
How does that work how did you do that and can you put it in your gas tank?
It works because it’s in an oxygen free environment which doesn’t allow for oxidization of the plastic as it is cooking and yes you can but only after sacrificing a Pur or brita filter pitcher as you would need to filter out any left over plastic particles from the gas.
Is not gas but petrol

Doubt 1- Why is that plastic pipe attached to cooker doesn't melt
Doubt 2- if the pipe left on water is to release hot gas produced from burning, why is the color of water still not changed?
1 One can probably use silicone tube,I give this man 100% for effort .
your issue 2 I think Because of the Light angle, so it was hard to observe the water color changed.
Hello what type of plastic is that black material that u put together with the green bottles
can this be simply done by keeping the jar on the cooker
Make another video and used for running vehicle
Then take apart the engine and observe the damage.
with all of the brainpower of humanity we could produce an engine that runs on plastic waste. but then the government would block the patent.
Some engines can be built to run on low grade fuel or many different types of fuel. There are military vehicles with engines that will run on any petroleum based product including various used oils.
Excellent
Superb
Great vid mate LPG here we come 😊
It's for sure a way to get rid of plastic but it's fuel inefficient because of the volume of fuel to produce that small amount of liquid fuel. What toxins be they liquid or gas are produced???? How are they disposed of and what environmental factors do they have???
My thought about it since the very beginning only sun mirrors heating up the kettle with plastic in is the only fossile free way to do it.
Hi Karl, how very odd. After I posted this comment yesterday morning I went for a walk and whilst pondering said fuel issue a solar Fresnel lens came to mind with a revolving metal cylinder or a moving tilt table lens to prevent/avoid melting the metal cylinder. Or an agreeable distance for or aft of the main focal point to create enough heat but not to melt the metal would suffice. I not long ago saw a tv Fresnel lens melt metal for blacksmithing. For sure it's the fuel free way forward to do this but I'm still not sure the entire process will terminate the toxicity cycle created by the plastic manufacture.
Brann there is no non toxic method of producing gasoline. It's gasoline. The idea here is not how to produce environmentally sound fuel. The lesson here is that plastic trash can run your car which is already toxic af no matter where you get the fuel from. If you want non toxic transportation you cannot use any type of fossil fuels or petroleum byproducts. The answer is staring us all in the face but I cannot afford to build it...the answer is to build cars that run on teslas cold steam engine and make a solar boiler using parabolic reflectors and fresnel technology for your heat source. A sealed nitrogen coolant for temperature differential and a well insulated water tank for "battery" power. It's technology that has been suppressed for over a hundred years.
Hi Scot, my concerns and interest lay in the riddance of plastics from our world........not creating fuel. If the fuel can be used and it lessens the plastic littering our once healthy world then great...........but only if it's clean. It's a great idea but if the process is refined it could eliminate the toxins to pure carbon and gasses which could be cleaned somehow. As for suppressed tech and knowledge..........there are far better combustion and propulsion tech being suppressed than teslas steam engines. I have many ideas of my own but I will never follow them up...................or share them. Pointless and alphabet orgs and gangs won't allow it. The world is a controlled mess.

I can't believe I watched this till the end but still in doubt.
I can. People in general are fairly stupid. This is basic high school level chemistry....but people these days can easily get a college degree without ever getting a high school level education. If you don't believe me next time you meet someone with a college degree ask them to explain the difference between "to, too" and "two" because more than half of college graduates have trouble with these basic two and three letter words. God help them if there in a contest for they're lives and there asked to explain the possessive pronoun for "themselves"
I literally lost my mind when I was in front of a judge who somehow graduated law school and she informed me that she had to "axe me some questions" I knew my lilly white behind was getting fried when I realized my judge was illiterate. There's no way she could understand the precepts of the constitution when she couldn't even spell the word "alcohol" but she was somehow in charge of deciding my fate. This country is going to doo doo because of a generation of social engineering and constant brainwashing and everywhere I see an epidemic of stupidity so your ignorance of the basic process of distillation and the composition of plastics is frankly unsurprising.
Are you, by chance, a flat earther? I'm just curious. I'm doing a study on the overall effects of social engineering on the ability of humans to evolve as a species and I'm collecting data for my charts. This information could be useful.
No. It's true.
