-------------------------------------------------------------------
Joker as the ego destructive superego has all but killed the reptilian part of the brain and is now IN the second stages ;destroying the paleomammalian part of the brain ;audio visual communication - TV etc ...
Joker is Art (at least for now )he rest in the conscious higher thinking intilligent part of the brain and is basically inside his own mind taking control of himself in a destructive way .. As Batman tries to fix it ..
He promotes New and Improved JOKER products !With a NEW SECRET INGREDIENT.... Smylex .He's promoting /warning the paleomammalian part of the brain (Via communication audio visual etc ).Poison is out there the only way for you to not be poisioned Is to not buy it ( be yourself /accept yourself).. Best to change ways and advance .
If they can't grow to higher level of thinking and find a way to fill them self up with more than external poison (internal vs external happiness ) Well then they are already part of a dying brain , at least go with smile(external)
Now let's go over to our Blind Taste Test .(Models that make a living selling beauty)
" LOVE THAT JOKER "
Uh Oh ,he don't like happy. He's been using BRAND Xssssssss. -
The person tied down doesn't appear externally happy (he is scared and angry like a reptile )but afterall hes not dead ...
-Also Joker ,as the ego destructive superego ,reminds us how his method has already killed/gotten the reptilian brain under control(Shown in another scene)
But with new and improved JOKER BRAND I get a Grin again and AGAIN .AWW.. UH ,UH ,UH, UH ,OOH !
Take it you and you will be happy that you will appear externally happy(dead )don't take it and you will be happy to be alive either way he will grin at your happiness
That Luscious Tan. Those Ruby Lips and Hair Color So Natural, only Your Undertaker knows for sure.
Happiness by nature is through progression ,Cosmetics Tv etc is an artifical way to present nature as a means to gain primitive happiness thus unprogressive , your undertaker knows for sure (he refers to the internal he as himself knows your happy )
HA HA HA HA! I know what you're saying! WHERE can I get these Fine New Items?
Well that's THE GAG.
Chances are, YOU BOUGHT EM ALREADY. HA HA HA HA!
It's possible you already have them . Now you have chance to advance question yourself (his level ).
"Love that Joker!
" So Remember, put on a "HAPPY FACE!
Joker reminds them of the societal pressure to put on a happy face vs the internal choice to put on a happy face .
Even Thinking about such choices -you advance and will put on happy face ..
" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!"
Bruce Wayne shakes his head as the commercial is ending ... Because Joker is a part of him as much as Batman is ..Two sides of the same coin - chaos order dark destruction creation etc ..
*Spoiler - The balloon scene emphasizes this point even further ..
This is why 89 Batman had the best Joker. He had the comic book Joker's ridiculously dark humor that you could laugh at while also saying "that's fucked up".
Not a bad way to put it. Jack's Joker was just organic.
@@mime3761 yep he was the world's first fully functioning homicidal artist. You felt like he could articulate himself at anything. Such style
I agree ...the other Jokers are emo I'm not mad at their hustle. Jack can be by himself in this category of Joker, it belongs to him.
@@acococure6398 Hamil wasn’t emo, neither was Cameron.
@@alexander_Izunia Hamil ain’t Jack either. This Joker is the most comic accurate to me. He’s laughing as he kills with no rhyme or reason for it.
Jack Nicholson somehow combined the horror of the comics Joker with the goofiness of the 60's TV Joker.
That's why he is still my favorite one
@daustin8888 Makes sense. I would argue that Jack Nicholson as the Joker is the closest we'll ever get to a live-action Joker that's faithful to the comics, and that's what makes Jack Nicholson a great Joker.
@@johnivantaro6684 Even Mark Hamill said when he got the role for BTAS Paul Dini and Bruce Timm both said "avoid Nicholson" and he admitted that it was tricky
That's how iconic Jack's performance was.
Yeah the Joker should be a total goofball. That is what makes him a good contrast to the serious stone faced Batman.
@Ro Jaws I would say combination of goofiness and horror. It would fit Joker's unpredictability.
This is the kind of Joker I like. He doesn't just find disturbing things funny, he makes disturbing things funny.
Nobody was laughing? Bro how come the most idiotic comments get all the likes. Joker is the only one who finds his own jokes funny. Nobody laughs but him.

The way he walks with the shopping cart is the best.
Nicholson was really proud of his work in this film and called it "pop art."
The art museum scene is even funnier when you know that Nicholson has an art collection worth 100 million dollars.
@@williamshaw9047
That scene was also rather hard for Nicholson to film since he was an avid art lover and didn't like the idea of defacing artworks.
That'd how I do my shopping with my kids saying" dad grow up lol "

2017 Pennywise
Nicholson was the most comic book-accurate Joker we've ever had, it's like he's the live-action version of Mark Hamill *(that's because he came before and inspired the animated version).* It's amazing how scary and funny he is at the same time.
ill take Nicholson over that Liberal
Laugh it up Gotham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's good reason why Nicholson got the first top billing: He's just a fantastic Joker overall!
@@NebLleb i say Nicholson is better than that Liberal
Agreed! Casting couldn't have possibly been easier. Jack was made for that part ... And I like how all 3 jokers (Jack plus Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix) all had their own version and were brilliant in their performances.
I go back and forth between Heath and Jack as far as which I like best. They were both phenomenal and stole the show!!
That laugh after he says “you bought em already!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I understand now what he means. The necessary hygiene and makeup cosmetics would mix and cause someone to literally die laughing.

Many write off Jack’s performance as him just playing himself but he really did play the best version of the character, a gangster and a psychopath yet utterly hilarious and insane.

There ain’t a scene that Heath or Phoenix did that matches this for pure Jokerness. This is the comic accurate Joker right here. Every scene of Jack as Joker is perfect. There’s no ticks, no vocal changes, it’s just an organic smoove portrayal of Joker.
That's why Jack is my favorite joker
Actually leto is the most comic accurate, iirc some scenes are pulled directly from the books

Love that Joker
Jack nicholson and heath ledger played the same character in such different ways
AND BOTH DID IT WONDERFULLY
And Jack Nicholson did a much better job.
This reminds me so much of the Joker Gas and the Joker Fish episode from BTAS.
Smylex is basically a take on the Joker gas and fish from the classic comic book story The Joker's Five Way Revenge and a couple of other stories from the 70's Denny O Neil run.
the show was loosely based off of the first two movies, so this is pretty much where it came from.
hYBRYDcOBRA nah the joker gas in the cartoon was because it was a kids show and they couldn't kill people, so instead they took the joker gas idea and ran with it
Also a take on the Joker Venom/Gas which is there in the very first Joker appearance in Batman 1 in 1940.

One of the reasons this is my favorite, is because the horror element, combined with the dark comedy, creates such an off-putting feeling through the entire film. Just a general unsettling, sort of wrongness that fits Jack's Joker so perfectly. Batman Returns was dark and disturbing, but in the a-typical Tim Burton way where it's that cartoonish sort of scary-sad-gloomy feeling that everything else he does has. This one genuinely feels like you're in the mind of a killer.

The Joker always hijacks broadcasts. Before TV, he would take over the radio. Dark Knight adapted this wonderfully, having him send video tapes to the news. Todd Phillips' Joker also adapted it incredibly by having him featured on every channel on TV (for killing Murray), alongside broadcasts of the riots he was at the root of.

Heath Ledger did a great Joker. Loved it. Jack Nicholson brought the character back from the idiocy of the 60s TV show and created the living embodiment of the character in flesh and blood. He was all at once scary, funny, campy, macabre, evil, entertaining, genius, and a total diva. He is the example to follow for how a live Joker should act. Always finding humor in the dark, recesses of the human mind. Because no matter how twisted, demented, morbid or absurd his “jokes” are, you always get the joke. This video with the Joker commercial is the perfect way to encapsulate this character. Also, Mark Hamil as the Joker is the Gold Standard but that’s animated.
