Beautiful scenic drive. Of course you could have charged during your 5-10 minute stop, but it was an interesting and fun challenge to make it the entire 7 hour trip without charging. In the least expensive "standard range" Tesla.
I too would gladly pay $1-2,000 extra to get the premium sound system in the new long range RWD Model 3 that is available in the US. I compared the sound in the RWD vs AWD Highland Model 3's in Tesla's showroom, and really want the premium system. So I will get the AWD, even though I prefer the extra 21 miles range and lighter weight RWD.

Yeah the RWD is so much value, the only reason I got the LR Model 3 Highland was beacuse of 4 wheel drive and faster 0-100. But the range is basically the same if you use it between 80-20% I belive. And I regulary drive in chill mode, but I get the feeling of a new car when I change it to normal :). Also the RWD with winter tires should do pretty good aswell, even without terrain mode. Interesting video!
