Losing your rhythm “I don’t do anything for myself, I just do everything for everyone else…” felt that soul deep. Time for a break before I light the laundry on fire 😂
Same I just had my 4th last September It's been 5 years I don't know how to do this anymore lol. Also, what's a shower or self-care let alone me time? 😂
As a mom of four grown kids, I can so relate to the laundry debacle. I remember declaring I'd better be good because if I went to hell, I'd probably be punished by sorting socks for eternity. Nothing EVER matched. 😅
I thought I'd be able to sleep through the night when mine got older but no such luck. My girls are 15 and 21 and still wake me up... lol! So does the dog and cats.
To the parent that needs to hear this, it is worth it. Don’t give up, there is an end to this ‘never ending’ phase of your life. It happens so gradually you’ll almost miss it but one day you’ll realize they are too big to hold on your lap, and too grown up to kiss you on the cheek. 😢

It is not necessary or healthy, to live in an Instagram ready household all the time. To you all and all parents you are killing it.

@@NadiaSeesIt congrats on your first! It could be a LOT at times when they all had a need all at the same time when they were super small, including trying to meet our own basic needs somehow in the midst, haha! How do you afford 4 kids and get to stay home? I am asking this seriously. I really want just one baby and to be a stay at home mom. I am not sure if we can do it though
@@elizabethh6638 Actually, we have 5 kids! The youngest is 15 and the rest are all adults now. When we were having babies it was a different time. We bought our first house when we were 19 and my husband had 3 part time jobs (we bought it for $86,000 and now it would cost over $400,000). We struggled a lot over the years, but overall we found that, with one parent home the other parent could be more focused at work and be a better employee which provided promotions and pay raises along the way. Employers didn't have to worry about the parent calling in sick because their kid was sick or they needed to take them to an appointment or they got in trouble at school because the home parent took care of that stuff. Laundry was done, dishes were done, meals were cooked so the working parent didn't have to deal with that stuff. It just works well. Also, we didn't have flashy cars or take expensive vacations and we didn't have to pay for daycare (HUGE expense!)! Currently my husband is a (local) HAZMAT truck driver working 60-70 hours a week.
So accurate. Especially losing your rhythm and finding finding your rhythm. (I could add those two things on repeat till the baby turns into a teenager). My babies are all grown up now. Our youngest turned 20 this year. Hubby and I hugged on her birthday and high 5 each other and yelled WE MADE IT
That’s exactly it!! You get one rhythm then lose it then pick up another rhythm then lose it, and on and on… mine are 23 & 22 & we are STILL finding new rhythms to dance to thru parenthood. It’s all worth it.
As a grandparent, I so enjoyed the "5 stages of new baby" LOVED every moment & thanks to all daughters and sons for taking the plunge & becoming parents otherwise I would not be a grandparent. It is so worth it, for ME, to get to hold the most perfect baby cause I know at some point of my visit, I will not feel guilty leaving a newborn baby with it's parents. So worth it! Bye-bye! Time for MY yoga class & I think I will get a chocolate milkshake after class & later We'll go out for dinner & watch Netfix. So worth it! I am so happy. Grandparenting is just so so easy.
As a 52 yr old mom to 5, ages 27, 25, 23, 21 & 12, and I'm now going through menopause, when you opened that door to the kids reading to the baby, I teared up! You bet it's all worth it!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm on week 2 of my first child. Struggling to pump, recovering from a 4th degree tear....I feel all of this so much. Also, you are superheroes for being able to raise so many kids at once. My hubby and I are exhausted with one.
This is so accurate not only for the first week of having a kid but of having kids in general! The fact that you even had the wherewithal to put this together with a newborn and 4 kids is amazing. And that shot of all four of them at the end--my heart. 😍
I know that this sounds like it is never going to happen, but there will come a day, in about 25 years, when you and Heidi are sitting watching all of your kids with their kids and it is going to hit you hard just how profoundly worth it it all is. People are really not that good at delayed gratification but that moment when you see all your hard work come to fruition is amazing. Of course, watching your kid deal with their kid having a meltdown is pretty great too. You can just sit back, sip your tea and laugh at them, "Ha, ha it's your turn now suckers" Enjoy it. It goes way faster than you can ever imagine. Congrats on your beautiful family!
“I just pumped 45 oz”😂😂😂 That was sooooo me! I donated 6 GALLONS of breast milk while nursing. I was literally a milk cow. My body made WAYYYY too much milk. lol
How do you afford 5 babies? Seriously, I am scared to have just one because I am not sure we can afford it. I want one though but also terrified! But seriously how do you afford it?
I am 7,5 weeks away from baby number 2. I already can't imagine the logistics of dealing with a toddler and a newborn and everything else! Haha! Number 5 just made me well up in tears immediately! ♥ ♥ ♥
I love you guys! Thanks for showing the real. When I had my last daughter I spent most of my days topless I had a snack bin and a coffee maker next to the couch. The laundry left out food the self talk mannnnn. Congratulations
At four months with twins, its gotten easier. It's still hard - there's two of them! - but it's much better. We have to rediscover our rhythm every two weeks or so, but we are surviving. And they are such wonderful, adorable, active, happy babies. Your videos help my hubby and I get through it.
My nephew was a preemie and was so small, we couldnt find a sleeper for him to wear home from the hospital until his older sister offered the sleeper outfit from her baby doll. Perfect fit! 😂
@@WaiferThyme Awe! It’s hard to find preemie clothing. Last year, I found the tiniest preemie outfit from Carter’s brand at a consignment shop and that was the first outfit my tiny nephew ever wore. 🥰
I had 4, homeschooled them all and now have 3 grandchildren. I can still feel the exhaustion like it was yesterday when I watched this.😂 I remember telling my husband, I felt like the only thing I was worth in life anymore was as a dairy cow. When I did the math I had discovered I was either pregnant or nursing (and sometimes both at the same time) for 9 years straight. I also remember the day I realized I had just jogged from the convenience store back to my truck just because I felt like it. My children were all teenagers by then I think.😂

The sleep deprivation is the absolute hardest and to think it was hard with the help I did have... ahhhhh.. Your family is so beautiful!! Congratulations again!
I'm amazed that you are able to make these videos in the middle of 4-kid-newborn-life! With child #2, I lost my rhythm and fell of my mum-life bike HARD at 6 months postpartum. I didn't start feeling ok until she was about 1.5 years old. Baby #3 is over 4 months old and today I looked around me and felt like I was losing my mind in the screaming to-do list. I then looked at my kids all snuggled up together and gave that beautiful picture my full, undivided attention, being mindful of what is tangible, real and worth my focus. Thanks for making me feel a little less alone in my overwhelmed-ness❤

Calling the baby the wrong name - totally my husband and I 😂 We just had baby #4 a few months ago and kept calling him #3's name. It's definitely a thing!

You bet it's all worth it!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
“Realizing it’s worth it”😍😍 I get transported to that magical place from time to time and I just love it. Gives me the strength to go on😂
I'm on week 2 of my first child.
Hahaha as a recent first time mom I can say we definitely went through all the stages hahaha
“I just pumped 45 oz”😂😂😂 That was sooooo me! I donated 6 GALLONS of breast milk while nursing. I was literally a milk cow. My body made WAYYYY too much milk. lol
I pumped 2oz at a time 😢
@@thisgirl5933 Aw I’m sorry! I had friends who struggled with that too and it was so hard on them. 💖
@@thisgirl5933 me too. Breastfeeding didn't work for me. But my daughter is healthy and thriving on formula and that's all that matters.
@@LolaKlein I’m happy to hear she’s doing well! Fed is best, it doesn’t matter how! 💖
@This Girl same. With both of my boys. Just thankful they've both done well on formula, and that we're able to get what they need.
SO WORTH IT! YOU BOTH ARE AMAZING PARENTS, HANG IN THERE MAMMA AND DAD🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
Congratulations, he looks like daddy. Love you guys .
Oh my gosh! As a mom of 5, I can totally say this whole thing just hit every nail on the head!! 😂🤣
As a mom to 4under4 I have never seen something so accurate. The laundry especially 😅
Omg the sandstone wrap looks perfect on you! And you wrap so well Heidi! ❤❤
Ok, the end got my all teary eyed! I felt every part of this video! I can definitely say that the newborn stage is the hardest stage.
Just had our 5th baby boy last week and this video made me cry….yes yes and yes TOTALLY worth it. Keep having cute babies!
How do you afford 5 babies? Seriously, I am scared to have just one because I am not sure we can afford it. I want one though but also terrified! But seriously how do you afford it?
This might be the best video you've ever done! I'm 1 year in and sometimes I still cycle through those stages.
Also, your kids are all adorable.
thanks!
Nailed it! It is so worth it. Congratulations.
One of my favorites that you've done! Hilarious and relatable and, of course, so sweet. ❤ children are hard but they are the greatest blessings ❤
I best not send this to my heavily pregnant daughter, but hey, the struggle is real. A couple of weeks in & she’ll relate! Love to you & your family 😊
Did you walk the cat? 😂😂😂
New parents here, we do walk our cat. 😅
At four months with twins, its gotten easier. It's still hard - there's two of them! - but it's much better. We have to rediscover our rhythm every two weeks or so, but we are surviving. And they are such wonderful, adorable, active, happy babies.
Your videos help my hubby and I get through it.
Seeing all four kids together put tears in my eyes. So worth it! How awesome!
We just had a baby 5 weeks ago (our 5th) and this is on point!! 😂
“He’s wrapped in his brother’s jeans”😂😂🤣
My nephew was a preemie and was so small, we couldnt find a sleeper for him to wear home from the hospital until his older sister offered the sleeper outfit from her baby doll. Perfect fit! 😂
@@WaiferThyme Awe! It’s hard to find preemie clothing. Last year, I found the tiniest preemie outfit from Carter’s brand at a consignment shop and that was the first outfit my tiny nephew ever wore. 🥰
@@WaiferThyme Our oldest daughter was a preemie too. She was so small she could fit in a shoebox. Now she’s 32 years old and into weight lifting.
I had 4, homeschooled them all and now have 3 grandchildren. I can still feel the exhaustion like it was yesterday when I watched this.😂
I remember telling my husband, I felt like the only thing I was worth in life anymore was as a dairy cow. When I did the math I had discovered I was either pregnant or nursing (and sometimes both at the same time) for 9 years straight.
I also remember the day I realized I had just jogged from the convenience store back to my truck just because I felt like it. My children were all teenagers by then I think.😂
Hello
Currently pregnant again and I'm TERRIFIED😬 . Thank for the laugh, I needed it!
Amazing video as usual! I've just got my rhythm down for my 3 boys, ages 4, 2 and 9 months and now Im expecting #4 in August.
This time I am a single mama though so I'm terrified!
2:49 Juno being a mini mom, like I thought she’d be. Otto is so darn cute, and Theo is so grown ❤
Kelso Oskar is utterly adorable ❤
YES, it’s worth it ❤❤❤❤
EDIT: Heidi looks amazing!!!
The most real video I've ever seen. Everyone should watch it, it encapsulates the whole newborn phase (and beyond) so well
The kids reading together made me tear up 🥹
Parenting is the most challenging job but it’s the best job. The payoff is enormous. The feelings of pride and joy cannot be duplicated. 😊
You guys always make me cryyyy! I’m never ready for the tender moments at the end 😂😭 about to have baby number 3!
I also love how you two really are doing this together. You two AND the children. Now that's a family.
lol! Yes it’s worth it! My girls are 17 months apart and my boys are 15 months apart. 4 babies in 6 years but now that the youngest is 6, I see life can be normal and awesome and we can actually have our bed back and at least 7 hours of sleep a night😂
This is the only channel that we can watch as a family and LOAO! Thank you guys for making it real. The wet shoulder! So frigging funny!!! Love you guys.
Their little pajamas look so cute💚 They look like cute, little frogs💚
I don’t do anything for myself I just do everything for everyone else…..
That’s my life right now too. As a mom of a new born a 6 yr old and 3 yr old. Starting a business with my husband and preparing for a huge family garden I can so relate to this video.
Thanks for doing what you do. You bring a little laughter to my day. God bless.
I have 5 siblings and I think about my parents getting the first four children at intervals of 15 month between the nativities. Wuhaaa! You nailed it! That's how they felt. But... it was worth it. ❤ You're such a sweet couple and an adorable family! I love watching your videos.
Yes to all the stages!!! Tears in my eyes with that last one. 15, 14, and 3 over here. It goes so fast!
Calling the baby the wrong name - totally my husband and I 😂 We just had baby #4 a few months ago and kept calling him #3's name. It's definitely a thing!
This was THE BEST! We are in this boat right now!! Thank you for seeing us where we are, warming our hearts and BIG laughs 🤍🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have 3 kids (2,4,6) wanting a 4th but I am afraid of being overly exhausted being pregnant again 😂🙈especially the first year was always tough. The moment where the kids play so peacefully like in this video, I totally get it... Usually lasts only minutes until someone starts screaming 🤣
You guys!! Omg ya'll just made me laugh and cry hysterically!! This is THE MOST REALISTIC SPOT ON REALITY OF RAISING A BIG CRAZY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY THAT I've ever seen!! 100% truth and yes!! ❤😂😅🎉
Y'all r amazing parents!! 🥰 I couldn't help but laugh when Taylor was raging about everything going wrong 😂😂😂 I've had those days myself.
Hilarious! I L O V E the ENDING!!! Funny & sweet!!
Yep, you pulled up next to me the other day and I didn't clock it until too late to wave, hope you're all taking care.
You made me cry when I read the "realizing it's worth it" subtitle ! I feel you guys... your neighbor in MT rockies also with 4 littles...
He’s so cute! Expecting my third in July 😅 and expecting this hot mess once again 😂 thanks Taylor and Heidi 🫶😊
Omg this made me cry it’s so accurate. The losing your rhythm every single comment and the realizing it’s worth it. I was so surprised to have the tears just suddenly flow . All blessings to you!
When you where at "3 Finding your rhythm" I was thinking "damn, can't remember that phase" but then you went to "4 Loosing the rhythm" and I was like "yeah that's more familiar!" 😂
But yeah. So worth it. 💖
I have 3 siblings. I'm almost 50. My parents have both passed away. Aside from my education my siblings are the best thing my parents ever gave me.
This is so accurate! 😂
I'm pregnant with our 5th baby!
And I'm terrified, since we homeschool 😮
We homeschool with five 8 and under! Our fifth turns one on Friday and we made it through the school year this past year - some crazy times but you can do it!
You can do it! 😊👍 (from a mom of five kids who's been homeschooling for 19 years)
@@emmablumer9158 thank you so much for this encouragement!
@@Heather6971 thank you for stopping by and encourage me!
My favorite part was when he said “not clean ones” and the Camara panned over to the laundry room. I feel vindicated!!!
You are all ADORABLE!!! And you make an AMAZING family c:
Good job, Dude parents! As a parent of 5 kids ages 13 to 7. It is so very much worth it!
Can we just acknowledge that Heidi pumped 45oz 👏🏼
Everyone crapped...I felt that lol
OMG y'all nailed it. Needed something so funny these days 😘😘😘😘😘
glad to provide the funny!
Having my first child in 4 days…..you gave me maximized anxiety, peace, joy, fear, and hope all in 3 minutes. I’m going to take a nap while I can. 😅
😂😂😂 Had our 5th on 3/31 so I’m right there with you! Sleep deprivation stage. 😂
How do you afford 5 babies? Seriously, I am scared to have just one because I am not sure we can afford it. I want one though but also terrified! But seriously how do you afford it?
@@elizabethh6638 live simply! I make our meals at home and we hardly ever go out to eat. We don’t have debt besides our family vehicle and make smart choices. I meal plan and shop thrifted things as much as I can. It’s really not hard, most people are just so use to all the luxe things, and that’s fine if that’s your thing! We’re just about raising awesome little humans! We spend extras on them, dirt bikes and hiking, camping etc!
You guys are not just absolutely hilarious, but also incredibly wholesome. Keep it up!
That was so funny...when u walked the cat hahaha I'm still laughing
Felt this deeply. My 5th baby is almost 4 months old and the constant finding and losing my rhythm roller coaster is driving me NUTS 🥴🥴🥴 but it is all worth it!
2:20 Let’s all have a moms day at the spa lol 💆🏽♀️
😢😢😢 the end with the kids reading got me. The days feel long, but the years are much too short ❤
"my body is making its own espresso" 💀
That last scene brought tears to my eyes ... good tears😊 You guys are such good parents 😊
