TO REMOVE NEGATIVE SPACE IN LETTERS... Set the scribble mode from "All Masks" to "All Masks using modes". Make sure the mask modes are all set to "Difference". Pin so ppl can see!
I was just messing with this because the "old fashioned" way of doing it by hand with the paint brush is soooo tedious and I found that instead of selecting "all masks" you can select "all masks using modes" and it takes care of the spaces inside the letters. Great stuff man! Keep it up!
After rewatching I noticed that option too. Was going to get around to seeing if that would work for the spaces in the letters. Glad to hear that it works!
idk if smeone already suggested this but it works for me. to ''remove'' the negative space, u can just set the fill type under the scribble effects from ''Inside'' to ''Inside Edge''. it will not include the negative spaces and u dont have to duplicate the letters that has spaces. Hope this helps!
I know not the same look, but to everybody needing the text to be editable: Find values for turbulent displacement that you like and set posterize time to 12 or 8. Enough wiggly- and scribblyness for me and I can export as an editable .mogrt
When selecting what masks you want your scribble to use, I found out after this video was made that there's an "All masks using modes" option. You can use that and set your gaps to a subtract mode to get the gaps.
you took it soo long @5.40 , we dont need to make copies , just change the scribble from all masks to all masks using modes option , and there you go !
Why do you think any tutorial, ever… Needs background music. All it is is noise behind your voice… we’re trying to hear what you have to say there’s no music needed--like not ever. That will improve your tutorials immensely.

Couldn't you also just you a track matte to create the gaps in the letters? (I can't remember if it's inverted track matte or a regular track matte)
