Hi, This brings back good memories.
It doesn't look much different from 1982 when I did the short 'thru trip', in through the lower entrance tunnel into the big flooded chamber and then back out through the upper entrance 'window' at about 9m.
The warning sign was at the start of the blind tunnel, we didn't go up it.
Used twin back mount 60's (60 cubic feet cylinders) each with it's own regulator, two crappy filament bulb torches (no halogen or LEDs!! Visibility was awesome on the way in, but even staying high in the tunnel, with good buoyancy control, it was impossible not to stir up some sediment on the way in. My first altitude dive.
    Cheers Paul, now in NZ

      How interesting Paul!
Sadly there is no upper entrance now, only one way in & out. I can’t imagine these kind of dives with 80’s equipment! 😄

I've never dived before but those puddles on the top of the cave, are those air pockets?

They certainly are, divers bubbles - not very big really, unlikely to be breathable - but great for reflecting your torch off for a bit of moody atmosphere!

@@MyScubaDiving They are cool. Sucks they aren't breathable but still cool. Thanks for the reply.

@@MyScubaDiving I did this dive with my friend around 1999 and we were able to stick our heads in a few of these and breath and talk to each other.

@@owenbrindle1462 I never would have thought they were big enough! Obviously deceptive!

@@MyScubaDiving There were two we could get our heads in and actually talk, but only just. I only did this dive once and to be honest was too inexperienced to be doing it. Although I had qualified up to Assistant Instructor (PADI) I still hadn't really done much diving outside of the training courses.
