Never owned one, however I’ve had a few Honda c90 and five Honda innova......not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love them. If you need any advice join the Honda c90 forum, it’s a very helpful forum...some very knowledgeable people there. They have some ride days both on and off road, camping etc, they do one not too far from you at Matlock Bath every year.

Yes definitely ok with townmates....a few of them have them or have had them. Actually there’s a project section on there as well I think. Brilliant forum.

I just got mine running bit smokey but surprisingly smooth just no electrics work cant wait to get it on road plus you dont really see them anymore

Hey Marius! There’s been no progress on the Townmate since last year. We’ve both been busy with other things so the project had to take a backseat. It’s still there though and we’ll finish it eventually. We’re at the point where we’re about ready to paint it 👍

I started riding with a townmate T50 22 years a go. Mine had 12V because it had an electric starter and i have modified it to 90cc. You can go a million miles and you will only change the oil on it. The front suspension is crap btw.
I bet your bike could tell a few stories, right?! I’m looking forward to seeing how crap everything is haha 😆
@@MechitBetter I can tell you i used it as a dirtbike (without the white apron on it) and went to places now i see and i am thankful to be alive lol.
I maybe wrong but I think it’s classed as a underbone which is a motorcycle not a scooter.

Absolutely! It’s good that people are recognising them as classics, but they are getting daft. Glad I bought something cheap while it’s still possible
