Thanks, Alicia for the video. I have been a Lifetime Weight Watchers member under goal for years. My a1c was 5.7 in July, so I switched to the diabetic plan of WW to see if I could fight off diabetes. As a bonus, I dropped 5.8 pounds! The diabetic zero points has not changed for me for what I use in the new plan. All fruits count, yogurt, up to a point, I do not use ff cottage cheese, and all starchy veggies count. I am good with all of that, I never use my weeklies or all of my points anyway. I do like the photo shot of the food option for dining out. I like the macro count. I do not care about it not displaying calories, I do not count calories. For me, that could become an obsession. I just let WW take care of that for me. It has worked for over 44 years. I love your channel and recipes, Alicia! Your family is precious!
44 years, wow!! That is great it has worked so well for you for! Thanks for the information on the diabetic plan, it sounds like it was a good switch for you to go to that. I feel the same with the calories, I figure that is what counting the points is for. Thank you so much!!❤️
I m so exited about the potatoes and meat! They list every cut of meat but prime rib. I wonder why that is? It’s my favorite thing to order when going out for dinner.
I think it is because prime rib has a really high fat content compared to other cuts of meat. We just had it for New Years and it was so delicious and worth the points! Lol
Thank you for the review of changes❤ I was worried but so far looks good, no worries of nonfat greek yogurt having points. That is a cooking essential 😅
Surprisingly though I tested it on my breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast, tomato, tangerine, bacon). As expected AI can’t determine my add ins to scrambled eggs nor did it know my bacon slices were half slices and uncured, but in a pinch better than not tracking at all!
Love your videos. Really don’t like that the WW website is useless and they force you to use the app. I found it easier to build my own recipes on the site.
Thank you, Alicia! The recipe url link didn't work the first day, so I was waiting on clarification. This will be great. I don't enjoy typing on the phone. Preferred typing on the computer before they got rid of that. I will say that the potato and sweet potato and lean beef on the zero list are exciting. Thanks for allyou do.
Hi pretty lady. So nice to see your pretty face. Glad I caught this one tonight as I'm leaving again for Orlando for the holidays.🎄🎁🎉🎊 Can't thank you enough for doing the research and the heads up in regard to the new plan. Wishing you a Merry Christmas. a Happy New Year filled with health, happiness, and peace for your family, friend's neighbors and the whole world.❤ENJOY😁
Aww, thanks! I usually am on the other side of the camera, aren't I?!😄 I will miss you but hope you have the best time!! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Have a wonderful trip!!🎄❤️⭐🎅
Alicia, I have a couple of questions. 1. For the dark chicken, with an example of a chicken drumstick, if I cook it with the skin on & then remove it, does it still count as zero? 2. Saving new recipes, I often will edit the steps, to break it down for each step because it’s easier for me to follow. Once I’m done doing that it gives me the option of save as new or save as original. I’m always confused as what to use. Can you clarify that for me? I have one more question, but I can’t remember what it was. See what happens when you’re in your 70’s! LOL! Thanks so much for this video, it really helped me out . Now I remembered my other ? 3. When you allow yourself to have “cheat days” on the weekend, is it hard to go back to the plan on Mondays. I think I would. Thanks again, it was really helpful to have the changes explained.
Hi Lynn, for the chicken, that probably depends on who you ask. I personally would remove any skin before cooking to ensure it was zero points. But that is just me. I'm sure others would say that is fine. As for the recipe saving; if you hit save as original, it is going to save that recipe with the changes you made to it. If you save as new, it is going to create another recipe with your changes, different from the original. So, there will be two, the original and the one with your changes. Hope that made sense! As for my cheat days, yes, it is sometimes hard to go back on plan on Mondays. It is usually just the first meal though and then I fall back into the swing of things.
@ thanks for explaining the “save” method. I knew I was doing something wrong because there are a few recipes that I have listed multiple times in my recipe builder. So that brings up another question, is there a way to delete multiple copies of a recipe?
I think you are safer just using RUclips. So many people steal recipes. I see Pound Droppers recipes and ever her pictures on multiple blog sites. Thank you for all your work. I love watching your videos and tryiong the recipes I think we will like.
It's pretty good but the free foods I'm more nervous about. I'm having a time with the scale being up and down at the moment and to add those free foods that were not before makes me a little nervous other than that. The first day it said I had like 27000-29000 sodium i think that part was way off, so we'll see how it goes!
Hi, I'm new to using WW and I need help to find out if the app can be put in Spanish. Help!! My first language is Spanish and I would feel more comfortable there. Thanks!
I looked into it and this is what I found: "No, you cannot directly change the language on the WW (Weight Watchers) app through the app itself; the language is typically determined by your device's system language settings, so to change it, you need to adjust the language settings on your phone or computer. "

Greek yogurt is a staple, for sure!!
Love the addition of macros as an informational item, but agree the pic I’ll use on in certain situations.thanks!
Hi Susan👋 Yes, it's good for some situations. Any tracking is better than none!
Surprisingly though I tested it on my breakfast (scrambled eggs on toast, tomato, tangerine, bacon).

I agree. I wish they didn't get rid of the website. It was much easier to use than the app for building recipes.

You're welcome! I agree that using the computer and the WW website was a lot easier, I miss it!
You are such a doll! I love when we see you!
Thank you!!❤️😊

I am still trying to figure out how to delete them myself. I will let you know if I do!!
@@AliciaLynnYT Great! Thanks
They give you calories for an individual food item. So you could write it down and keep your own tally, if you want to count calories.

Thanks for the update
You're welcome! 😊
Great Video 🎉 Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!😊
I think the scanner would be better to use with a restaurant meal, where they don't substitute for fat free ingredients and such
Yes!!

I hear you!!
I’ve heard coaches say this over and over, all zero point foods still have calories, so just keep that in mind. Good luck.
So helpful thank you!!
You're very welcome!
Thanks ! Your so helpful ! 😊
You are very welcome!❤️
Great video, my concern also is so many zero points food, they also have calories. How can people loose weight.
Definitely a concern!
Great information
Thank you so much! ❤️
Way back on simply filling dark meat poultry and lean meats were zero
This plan is kind of like a marriage of that plan and the most recent plan
Interesting! Thanks for the info!!
Mine doesn't have the lean meat tab or the starchy carbs tab. It does show zero when I search for them though.
Try signing out and signing back into the app. That is what fixed it for me!
That worked! Thanks so much
Wow, you are so cute! 😊 Okay, go ahead and keep talking about Weight Watchers...
😊 thank you, kiddo!!❤️Call you tomorrow!!

One of the things I don't have is sodium at the bottom the other ones are
Try signing out and signing back in, that might fix it!
Do we have to add Apple health to Ww app?
Yes, you do have to link whatever fitness tracker you are using to the ww app.
What are your macros that you keep talking about
Macronutrients, or Fat, Carbohydrates and Protein. WW is now counting those along with the points of foods.
You need to scroll below the Day screen, it shows below the water count.
Why is it I don't have a camera beside my scanner.?
It sounds like the app hasn't fully updated for you yet. Try signing out of the app and back in.
❤
Are cheerios zero now?
No, 4 pts for 1 1⁄2 cup serving
Does WW still have the purple, blue and green plans to choose from?
No, they stopped that one a few years ago. I loved the green!
