I just realized that my meatloaf recipe will be zero points! Ground Beef, oatmeal, tomato juice, egg, salt and pepper and a little onion. Holy mackerel! This is going to be a game changer!
I truly thank all four of you for taking time out of your day to bring this episode to us! Michael G--you did a wonderful job explaining the new exciting updates! Have a wonderfully healthy week!
I’m so excited. I have been feeling steal and this will refresh the program for me. I was ready for some changes. It’s all about the portion control for me. I would rather a half potato than zero potatoes. This is huge
Great video! I follow Coach Michael G on he and Coach Lauren's cooking videos. Love them! Can't wait for this change though I have to be so careful with some cards especially potatoes and oatmeal.
Y'all are all too much fun!! Love these new changes and they're coming just when I needed to get motivated again. Thank you all!!! I don't do workshops it Michael G may be changing my mind! ❤
Honestly, these are smart changes! As a WW member - LT - for a long time and a former WW coach of 11 years, many of these changes are just plain competitive from a business perspective. Other weight loss apps and programs have had these features for a LONG time (macros, auto importing recipes, etc.) I'm kind of glad I'm not part of the change management anymore though - Godspeed Coach Michael G! lol
I wish WW would point out that you can always enter the food in to the Points Calculator and get the points and save it under a name you create, bookmark it and still count points if you need that accountability. I am hoping for a day where there is The Binge Eater Option. Not all of us want zero point food options. I love WW for the ease in being steered towards healthy food vs just calorie counting, but I need more concrete bumpers to avoid overeating calories.
You can always change your setting to the Diabetic plan (it doesn't matter whether you actually have this diagnosis or not) and that gives you a more limited list of zero point foods. My understanding is that with the changes, the new meat options (as an example) will be part of the updated list, but not the starchy vegetables. Fruits were not previously part of the zero point list, and still won't be. This is what some of my WW friends do who historically did best on the plans with more limited zero point foods.
Glad this is here as nobody appears to have bothered to update members in the UK properly. And it's 10:30am here and the app still hasn't updated. Bit frustrating when you're paying for a service.
I wish that WW would let you create a recipe and let you put a serving size. I will make a casserole and I hate trying to figure out how many servings are in the dish. I have mentioned this to WW previously but no luck with it yet.
It should, but just keep in mind if it's plain oats and it scans as more, it may be because that particular brand isn't in the database. You can still count it as 0.
Will all brands be in the database eventually? So if I was to have a package of oatmeal by Quaker and maybe with brown sugar it should be 0 or just plain oatmeal
When we've had those additions before, there was always a daily point drop for those who chose to use them. How do you navigate having the same amount of points for those being added in?
When you have a chicken thigh instead of a chicken breast it evens out; you aren't eating both or doubling up on serving sizes. Portion control has always been a key factor, and it still is. I hope that helps; if not reach out to your Coach and /or 24/7 chat. :)
I’m excited that my Cuban Ajiaco and Puertorican Sancocho will be almost 0 or a few points, sticking to 1 portion is the key as they are starchy and I can eat the whole pot 😝
We don't have the answers for the tech questions - definitely reach out to the WW hotline. But, if you can use the app now, we don't see why that would prevent you from getting the new update.
I found out i am insulin resistant. The doctor put me on Metformin for weight loss. Should i be on the diabetic plan? I don't measure blood sugars yet.
I'm looking forward to this update! I did notice this past week that my weeklies went from 21 to 14. It might have happened 2 or 3 weeks earlier, and I just didn't notice it. I didn't have my birthday or anything, so I don't know why my weeklies changed. 😊
Perhaps go in and double check all of your settings.....maybe something was changed in error. You can also reach out to 24/7 chat; they will be happy to troubleshoot with you :)
@sandyrus4469 You're right. I lost a couple of pounds. I finally decided to get rid of the eight pounds gained during the Covid years. 😅 I must have had 14 weeklies prior to Covid years. It's been so long since I've been wearing the extra pounds, I completely forgot. 🤪 Thank you for reminding me. 🥰
soooo if I was to make cookies by replacing flour with oat flour by putting oatmeal in the food processor and use either monk fruit or splenda...we can have zero point cookies?
🤔 Not sure if that's breaking the system, but I like how you think LOL. Wonder if that could fall into the same space as fruit being zero, but in a smoothie, it has points because of quantity and blood sugar impact. Oat flour changes it to something very easy to over-consume instead of the intended bowl of oatmeal. But as a gluten free person, I'm definitely going to play with it in my app for sure! - Erin
@@RealWWTalk Thanks...that would be amazing if we can get a sweet snack like cookies at zero for say 3 cookies! OR MORE! After all...I'm on WW because I like cookies! 🤭
Question: I can go to GL P1 to track my food without being a GLP user? Is there a change from regular or is it just the macros? Thanks so much Coach Michael and Ladies!
I am so excited that potatoes are zero points...even when they were zero points before I never ate more than the recommended serving size.and oats...i can make my zero point waffles again :)
Whoops - looks like you had an inside thought that came outside, got typed on the keyboard, and posted. That's okay - I'm a big girl and can handle it :-). I unashamedly live at a 10! - Erin

Wahooooooo!!!
Send me the recipe sounds so good
Is that the recipe on the the oatmeal container? I love that
That was a fabulous video. Coach Michael is a hoot. Thank you ladies for bringing us the breaking news. We are all so pumped.
Our pleasure!
I just joined WW last week for the first time in my life. I've tried so many other things i finally joined. This was so helpful. Thank you!
You’re going to love it.
When I was following the purple plan I had 16 dailies. Hardly ever went over points. Some foods are just more satisfying than others!
I truly thank all four of you for taking time out of your day to bring this episode to us! Michael G--you did a wonderful job explaining the new exciting updates! Have a wonderfully healthy week!
Thanks! You too!
My favorite plan was Simply Filling so this gets closer to that. I became prediabetic on WW so watch the starchy carbs.
Candice 😂 I could tell she was trying to avoid a distraction but he was adorable
I'm so happy for steak
Oatmeal yummy 😊
I'm wondering what the beefs are?
Rikki and I died laughing when she stiff-armed Isaiah at one point 😆 - Erin
She needs to build a wall of Amazon shipping boxes to protect her desk space 😂
I’m most excited about being able to scan your plate and have the app give you points and macros!!! Easy tracking!!❤
I am screaming right now at all these changes!!!! This is going to be amazing! Thank you for the info! ❤
Too bad it will go away in two years. :(
I am excited for the starchy Veggies being added to Zero Points list because I’m
Vegetarian!

I like a renewed focus on the plan BEFORE the whole 'new years resolutions' push of January first...
Very helpful for this returnee. I'm excited. And the macros are a great addition for me with my health challenges.
Rikki, love your comment about the beef or chicken thighs… we didn’t get to our weight by eating to much of them!!
Exactly! We didn't land here with a monthly subscription because of chicken thighs! LOL
Y'all are all too much fun!! Love these new changes and they're coming just when I needed to get motivated again. Thank you all!!!

He's one of the best!
This was awesome! Thanks to all of you on this update. Exciting changes
Very well stated, and great information. Love this group. New subscriber today!
Awesome! Thank you!
and I was there! early early this morning! You did a great job, Michael!
I'm excited for this refresh!!! Thank you for sharing all this good info!
Me too sis

You mentioned member recipes- I don’t know where to find them? Just in the search bar or is there another place?
Was hoping quinoa or brown rice would be added as a zero 😢 but happy for the updates given thank you!
Same! But I know I'm not overeating those, so I'm tempted to make them my own Zero Point food. - Erin
Me too. I love quinoa and feel like it's a healthier option than potatoes!

What about lean ham? It was always so low in points I always thought it should have been zero.
Yes, krakus ham is the best!!!
Do I get to see you if I just Have the APP?
Glad this is here as nobody appears to have bothered to update members in the UK properly. And it's 10:30am here and the app still hasn't updated. Bit frustrating when you're paying for a service.
This is great! I may rejoin.
Such A Great Video 🎉 Thank you so much 🤩
You are so welcome!
Thank you

Good point! I usually put in the number of servings and in the notes put in the serving size. - Erin
Wait what? I've always been able to add servings, like most of my casseroles make 8 servings
You can add servings.
The dark meat is big. Looking forward to the photo scanning, too. That will truly be a game changer.
Thank you Michael G
Candace I loved your little son. I miss my little grandchildren. So fun to see. ❤
So when we go to scan a label now for oatmeal will it show 0 points
It should, but just keep in mind if it's plain oats and it scans as more, it may be because that particular brand isn't in the database. You can still count it as 0.

Just one plan now :)

That's a good question for your doc! Might be worth an ask!
@@RealWWTalkwill do! 😊 thank you!
I'm diabetic and I'm on the diabetic plan. You should be too because fruit is not zero for diabetics due to the natural sugar.
@@angelj238I'm not diabetic yet. They put me on it for weight loss and insulin resistance. But, big family history of it

14 weeklies are the minimum for those petite/lower weight. Did you lose weight? That put you into the next weight threshold.
@sandyrus4469 You're right. I lost a couple of pounds. I finally decided to get rid of the eight pounds gained during the Covid years. 😅

Erin, I just love the dropped jaw look you had throughout this podcast. I was laughing with you!
Potatoes and oatmeal 😊 Christmas has come early!! 🎉🎄❤️
Question: I can go to GL P1 to track my food without being a GLP user? Is there a change from regular or is it just the macros? Thanks so much Coach Michael and Ladies!

How do I get onto all these fun things? Do I have to upgrade my pls
Update the app reboot device if u need to
Glad there is an easy way to track protein
I’m not understanding the macro thing I’ve had macros on my app for months. Why is that new now?
some have had the macro piece some havent.
I heard that the macros won't include calories. Kind of dumb not to include that, the basic nutrition metric.
First listed is calories
So excited for this
Are you guys on StepBet? I wanna join can we?
Has anyone got a full list please?
It should be out tomorrow when it rolls out to everyone's app.
Thanks 😊
We have no meetings in Baltimore 💪🫵💪
I had a steak with potatoes, egg and a beansalad today and it was only 2 points.
Now I will feel better about having a glass of wine with my steak and potato dinner!
Love it
This was very informative! I promise I won’t buy 100 lbs of steak 😂 Thanks
lol 😂
Can we still do 93.7 as lean? Or is it just 90/10?
We'll find out tomorrow! But I don't see why something that's even less fat would be points... - Erin
I've never counted points for Avocado. My own personal choice.
I wish they would hand out a printed list of Zero point foods.
If you go into your app, you'll find the full list under the menu!
