Thanks! It will, as it’s not just regular paint. It’s AutoFlex liquid wrap, which is 2-3x thicker than regular paint, so it’s essentially like a PPF and paint job in one product 😁
Looks like I need to make the trek out to Gresham. How much for this (same truck, different color) with a few minor tweaks? How long does it last and is it easy to touch up? feel free to DM me and I'll give you my contact info.
@@xylology_est2018 Glad to hear it! If you want to email us at rosecitydip@gmail.com with some pictures and more details on what you’d like done, I’ll get back to you with pricing no problem!
Regular paint isn’t typically the idea product for chrome deletes, but our liquid wrap is perfect for it! 2-3x thicker in total than paint and vinyl and has the same high solids clear-coat on top to make it as durable and easy to maintain as regular paint 😎
@@nicholascarlson2304 Gotcha. I don’t personally know any out there, but if you visit the AutoFlex or Clarity Coat websites and search installers, there should be some not too far from you in that area.
@@rosecitydip Really nice work! Would you know if any shops near Indianapolis that could do this for my 1794? Replacing door handles, grills, bumpers, etc has got to be more than $2500 to paint. Thanks!
@@ScottSanderz19 I don’t personally, but the AutoFlex and Clarity Coat websites should have the most current list of experienced installers around by state :)
I don’t know, but I’m gonna assume the options and availability differ between the two. You can (and definitely should) buy a Platinum if you prefer that instead for sure though 👍🏼
I got a 1794 because I like the interior better but I like the platinum exterior. Toyota needs to make a 1794 interior with a platinum exterior. But they don’t
Looks SO much better with the chrome delete. Seems Toyota ought to be watching these to figure out how to improve their designs. Nice!
It’s amazing what a difference color matching the grill trim and that bottom piece that says tundra on it. Looks so clean
Really great job! You can tell a pro did the work.
Thanks Jim! 🙏🙏
You are a tape ninja for sure
Haha! Thank you, I'm glad the hundreds of hours we've spent taping shows 😆
Looks like it should have from the beginning. GREAT JOB
Thanks!
Very nice, but my personal opinion would be color matching door handles ,bumper caps, etc. in white. Either way, much nicer than chrome.
Looks really good. Just wonder about the durability in the long term.
Thanks! Durability’s great! You can watch our intro video for more info on product details if you’re interested!
So I can drive thru my soft "brush" car wash w/o fear?
That looks real good.
Thank you! 🙏
amazing work a lot more gratifying than a desk job you're awesome. sub
Thank you!
Dam good work Brother!!!!
Looks awesome bro, I have the same truck 1794 and I just hate the Crome how much do you charge for chrome delete? Thanks
Hey! Can help you out with that no problem! Would you want the same partial blackout, partial OEM-match, or just all blacked out?
How did you removed the front toyota emblem?
Very carefully by sliding very thin plastic spudgers between emblem and backing and slowing working around to pop the clips :)
Great job guys !! Does the paint will last without any protection on it ?
Thanks! It will, as it’s not just regular paint. It’s AutoFlex liquid wrap, which is 2-3x thicker than regular paint, so it’s essentially like a PPF and paint job in one product 😁
Very good 👍😊
Would love to see a Capstone chrome delete if you ever get the opportunity

I want to do that to my 22 1794
Holy shit!!! Looks awesome. If you don't mind me asking, what did you charge for this?
Not at all! Roughly $2,650 for this specific job
@@rosecitydipis it dip or actual paint?
AutoFlex liquid wrap, so a hybrid between the two essentially.
How much to have that all done?
Roughly $2,650 for this one I believe, but each one’s slightly different depending on trim options, color codes, etc…
How do you color match oem paint?
We use liquid wrap compatible OEM match pigments from thespraysource.com 🤘🏼
Is this a wind chill pearl white or regular white?
It’s the pearl/tri-coat
How do u removed the Toyota badge ?
Thin plastic pry tool around the edges and it should pop right out!
tiny, tender push clips
look much better
Everything good one thing I don’t like eating 1794 black he was looking better with that gold and black emblem
Appreciate the feedback! I might agree, but customer wanted it black :)
What kinda price?
Roughly $3k for this one
Got a question. That chrome often bubbles up or chips. Is that not a concern when painting them ?
Nope! Not a common issue with liquid wrap at all :)
@@rosecitydip oh I didn’t know it was liquid! What was the cost if you don’t mind me asking! Just for the chrome on the front ?and the bumper ?
@@ihatchvt867 Price for OEM color-matched white grille surround, front cross-member, & side strips would be $1,100.
The "chrome" is plastic.

@@rosecitydipSo I could "wax" it ALL w/Meguiar's spray hybrid ceramic wax?
Blue stuff in a pump spray bottle...WalMart.
@@SpicyRok7482 I believe so! As long as it’s auto paint safe, it’s AutoFlex safe :)
God I wish you were closer. I want this done to my new 2023 1794 tundra.

Platinum leather is BLACK only...NO Saddle Tan or Light Cream.
When will Toyota get a clue?! Only Grandpas like chrome!
@@SuperLeechboy Haha right?! Luckily we can get them looking right afterwards! 😁
This is how Toyota should have done it.
The chrome is LAME.
AGREED!!
@@rosecitydip You did a great job here!
About how long will that dip last?
6+ years, or as long as desired to keep it on really!
