2023 Toyota Tundra Wrap - DIY Chrome Delete Part 2

We had OnTop Indy show us some tips and tricks when it comes to wrapping trim and chrome accents on your new #hybridtundra or #limitedtundra. Our 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid has far too much chrome for our liking, so it had to go.

I took,off the window trim, very easy to remove and used black Plasti Dip, back bumper pieces and the front moustache I removed and used Color matched automotive paint and clear coat, Everything looks amazing, lots of hours but maybe $100.00 for everything

Where did you get your color matched paint for the front grill surround, been considering this myself but I don't have a place I trust to source the paint that will match.

@@Chris-ww9uo I had a couple of rattle cans mixed to paint code at a local auto body supply, then clear coat with hardener. Paint match was perfect

Thank you! I have a new 2024 Tundra on the way and hate chrome! The limited comes in two models…a night shade …where all the chrome is blacked out and the off road model with chrome trim. Unfortunately they do not offer the New Tundra factory lift kit on the nightshade….only the chrome package.

it was kind of nice having the window there holding the excess material until its trimmed but yes... its def doable either way

I wish you wrapped the Iforce max hood badge. That’s what I plan on taking on to get rid of the little chrome I have.
