I saw a video of an Amazon tribe, they had not heard of the moon landing, but the only foreigner they ever heard of was Michael Jackson. They haven’t heard of the moon walk, but they’ve heard of the Moonwalk lol
Was watching this as they were watching him and I was mesmerized and ive watched Michael for almost 50 years he still makes me hold my breath a little like a magic thing if that makes any sense.
I have a feeling Michael Jackson would have loved this. He wanted his music to transcend time, race, culture.. He would be happy that he brought them joy and wonder.. Something "magical". Many of their comments were very touching. Bless them..
Its true though. It seems rhythm is a big part of black or african culture. Many blacks sound like they are rapping even when they are talking about weather. There is some inbuilt rhythm in your DNA.
Not only dancing. In my opinion, they are the most talented people in the world. Dancing, singing, playing an instrument, in the sports etc. Technically, I know that all people are the same, but they are better at pretty much everything, but for some reason "we" have treated them as inferior throughout human history.
Michael Jackson's name is steadily moving from legendary status to mythological status. I heard about Beethoven as a kid but never knew who he was or what he had done. The same is now happening with Michael Jackson only on a bigger scale and in a shorter period of time. Even isolated tribes in the Amazons could recognize Michael Jackson in a French documentary while they knew nothing else of the modern world.
@@hunnybunny1289 but Michael Jackson credited his success and talent to God. He wouldn't approve because no one was beneath him, he treated everyone the same whether you were a King or a Janitor, you had the same value to him.
From legendary to mythological, omg yes I've said this too! I remember the first couple times when my young son watched MJ performances/videos, he asked me if MJ was even real! And hubby, though he's not a big fan, can appreciate MJ's talent - while watching Smooth Criminal short film he said it's not fair other artists get compared to MJ because "just look at him!"
"Even his shirt was shining and looked great, but his eyes had even more shine in them. Very beautiful"... He totally gets the enigma of Michael Jackson! Welcome to the MJ fan for life club ❤️
Did you know the bling jacket was an after thought from lil sis, Janet? ... It belonged to their mother & Janet went & got it from their mother's closet for Michael... via Janet in an interview.
The other four people were raving about Micael Jackson. And that's fine. MJ is absolutely rave-worthy. But when that one guy started talking about his eyes glowing, I was like "No. That crossed the line, buddy. You just went from raving, to a bona fide mancrush!" 🙊
That "dancing like a peacock" description warmed my heart. It's so interesting to see how people from a completely different culture interpret things that the Western world has taken for granted, which makes their appreciation of the artist's talent, in this case Michael Jackson, so much more genuine. Your videos are fascinating, sir!
You’re so right! Michael Jackson and I share the same ethnicity (culture) and I would’ve never made the same description to that dance move. However, as soon as he said it I saw exactly what he saw. People have a different lens and we can show each other something if stay humble.
For him to say that - I feel like that’s exactly what it is, all the way back into our common history - like on National Geographic where you see how birds show off their glory. We are the same, fortunately or unfortunately - but divine.
What? What precisely can we learn? Seriously, give me five things they have that “the world” doesn’t. (I’ll skip over the obvious point that they are also in the world and a part of it.) Five things.

The old man was the wisest and most knowledgeable, and the guy who noticed more than just the dance was the one who noticed the likeness of a peacock and the essence of substance in MJ's eyes on how his whole being is into his music.
Just dicovered this channel today and I've binged 4-5 episodes already and this guy is always in the essence of things. All of them are great, but he is right on the spot
Michael Jackson simultaneously seemed to be black, white, masculine, feminine, and everything in between. It's kind of cool how many different cultures still enjoy his talent. Truly he was and will remain the King of Pop.
I love other countries who can interpret what we can’t see in America. A Peacock way of dancing. His computer memory to remember his moves. His eyes glowing like his jacket.
the cool thing about that is The Jackson's as a group used a peacock for imagery and symbolism from 1978 until '84 I think. On their album covers and on their tours.
"When he gets down he looks like when a peacock dances and puts his feathers down, this step looked exactly like a peacock's dance." I think that is a perfect description. Michael Jackson is the King of Pop. 😉
I've always loved peacocks and almost cried when he said that. also I have heard it was Michael's favourite animal too so it is like a blessing reached his soul!
@@Chessbox09 IKR! I have studied his life and almost 5 months ago one night I realised that there was a peacock reference in almost all of his work. look at his dangerous album cover. watch leave me alone. it's freaking scary how universe works

That would be really neat. I have a couple Bollywood songs, but I know that's not all the music. We have so many different types of music in the US, I couldn't imagine it would be different anywhere else!
Can you explain, for someone who doesn't even know what language they're speaking, but loves languages in general? Is that a formal pronoun, like the similar-looking Spanish "Usted," or is it something else entirely?

"I haven't seen modern musicians do this ever" - Straight up fact 😑. No solo artist can attain Michael's level of performance. The bar is set so high, others can only look and admire 😁❤️
As a black American, I love watching them react to our culture and influence. These people are beautiful 😍 what they said about him was more beautiful than what American has ever said. When you live a life, regardless of many imperfections, that can bring joy to people in the far reaches of the world over time it means something. Not many people have that power. Also, the guy saying he’ll pray for his soul was really sweet!
That is a lie to discredit Americans. Who on earth supported the Jacksons on their way up? If MJ lived in India and cried woe is me, they would toss him from their village as a cry baby. Sensible ordinary people can appreciate talent but are too down to earth to put up with sleeping with little boys. So, take this reaction with a grain of salt. You should rail about the media who spouted lies. Not all Americans. Apologize.
I totally agree with the one man who mentioned he enjoyed this as much, if not more, than trying foods. Thank you for introducing them to legends like Bob ross and Michael jackson! This could be part of the "Legends" series. Thanks for another great video 👍

Vitiligo is common in Asian and black people, my mother has it and I know several others. I find it crazy when young people these days think that having millions of followers on social media makes you “world” famous… having millions of people know you means that billions of people don’t lol but the homie Michael Jackson, now that’s famous.
I totally agree. One can even buy the numbers on social media and big influencers even do that all the time but this, it's something else. I have never seen any billboards or official tributes to anyone like they had for MJ in Pakistan
The level of humility in these people warms my heart. As an American who grew up listening to Michael Jackson and who witnessed this particular performance live, it's a wonderful thing to hear the thoughts of those not so exposed to this type of popular Western music. The Moon Walk wasn't created by MJ but he certainly perfected and popularised it for all the world to see. Thank you for these videos. I learn something new everytime I watch them. Cheers.
As an old MJ's fan i can tell you that step is probably taken from a tribal dance from Ivory coast . The dance is named Zaouli. I advice you To take a look. The dance is incridibly sporty and the dancer seems To fly when he does the moonwalk. MJ seems To be a pale shadow comparing to'him , and i'm an MJ's Big Fan! But i'm able to be realistic 😁
Did you notice that smile which brings to their face while seeing the video. That's exactly the difference between MJ and other artists videos. He brings a sense of happiness through his songs, dance and videos. I'm 40+ and i feel like a kid again while watching him. So much of excitement and smile automatically appears.
I remember even in Bangladesh in the early 90’s, people knew about MJ. There was a popular Bengali song mentioning him how Bengalis are getting crazy of him!
They use words beautifully, it brings a tear to my eye. Too many harsh words in the modern world today, we have forgotten that it's very important to be kind before anything.
"You give us coffee and burgers but the real knowledge is this" (paraphrase). Loved that. It is food for the soul to know someone like MJ did his thing.
Michel Jackson has immortalized himself as one of the greatest entertainers in history. His songs, his dancing, he invented the moon walk if I remember. As long as music exists, he will also live on in a way.
Cab Calloway was one of the first to also do a version the moonwalk, or “the buzz” as he was known to call it, back in the 50s or early 60s I believe. Not as perfect or smooth as MJ but it’s something you don’t ever see in others filmed performances during his time.
To add to@@warrenjim46, It was called the "Backslide" in the 1970's and Michael learned it from one of the Soul Train (TV Show) Dancers, specifically JEFFREY DANIEL who was one of his dance teachers and also sang in the R&B group Shalimar. You can see Jeffrey doing the move in 1982 (1-Year before Motown 25) to one of Shalimar's songs on the British show TOP OF THE POPS Here: ruclips.net/video/1qokA5khruY/видео.html. If you look it up you can also find home videos of Jeffrey teach Michael how to dance like a Soul Train dancer aka "The inner-city black kids out of Los Angeles, California in the late 1970s and early 1980s"
I clicked on this thinking 'yeah, I'll watch a reaction to MJ, I got some time to kill, why not?' Song starts, a giant grin covers my face, my eyes become all teary and my body just won't stop moving... jacked the headphone volume up to 100 and cursed Michael for being legendary. I'm not even a giant fan of his music, I definitely appreciate it, but I can't say I live and breathe it like some people do, yet it still manages to do this for me.
this was my exact reaction to this video. I was laughing and crying at the same time. Seeing them describe what they were feeling as they watched him dance is the most satisfying thing I've seen today.
MJ was magic. Despite the final years of his life being a tragedy. MJ will be remembered in the books of Human history. As one of our greatest aritists. Exactly for the reasons you've stated. I'm glad you feel this way. Your happiness has made my day better. Thanks.
This is exactly me and why I've stopped fighting against calling myself a fan. Anytime I've watched this man perform or even just played his songs, I'm full of tears, smiles, excitement, and dance(!). I don't want to like him because I've always found him weird, but man, his talent is undeniable. No other artist moves me like that. He had a supreme gift.
As a Michael Jackson fan for over 35 years this brought tears to my eyes❣️ to the man that noticed the sparkle in Michael's eyes I could not have said it better myself. And to the uncle who thinks he's too heavy to dance I encourage him to turn on Billie Jean and try and practice that moonwalk because Michael would have loved it ❣️
This video makes me truly happy because as a Pakistani MJ fan, a big fan who's in teens and didn't get to experience MJ magic in his life, hearing its own people talk about MJ and those people who know nothing about the modern world know him, they dont know what he did or does, but they know his name! The stardom is one of a kind!
I may one day make it through one of these without crying, but I doubt it. These people have the most beautiful souls and they touch my heart each and every time. Talk about a bunch of warrior poets! Such examples to emulate and support. This Texan send all Y'all big love! That's the only kind we have here. 💚
I agree with the gentleman who said MJ deserved way more respect than he got, that he didn’t get the respect he deserved. The American & British media treated him horribly, and still do.

@@Lazarus-p8l None of us come even close to dealing with the amount & the complexity of the issues that MJ faced in all fields of his life, which makes it essential that any and all commentaries and analysis about him come from a place of empathy. It’s completely laughable when random people say Michael was protected by the media. They literally normalized a racial slur (Wacko Jacko) as a label on him. Most artists get to tell their own story, highlighting the good, omitting the bad, shaping their legacy as they see fit. Michael Jackson, however, has had his voice silenced, his legacy under siege by people attempting to highjack his story.
"like a computer in his brain", how insightful that comment is! MJ was a very visual person and when it comes to dance moves, probably had photographic memory too. He said he could look at a move once and could do it back exactly. And not only was he extremely talented, he was also highly intelligent.
When he first did the Moonwalk and it caused a sensation, my brother and I were quite little (3 & 5 years old or so), and we used to practice for hours in our socks on the kitchen floor. I believe Michael Jackson would love this. Not just his music being introduced to people who don't know it or not know it well, but everything else that these tribal Pakistani people are being introduced to. That's why I like these videos because I am being introduced to their culture as they are being introduced to mine. We are only in this world for a finite time, so I like watching different cultures and people. It helps to enrich my experience in this world. I only wish I had the ability to do it in real life but that's why I can use social media platforms. It may not be in person but that doesn't mean it's still not enjoyable to watch.
I give my thanks for sharing, Mr. Jackson is one of my favorite humanitarians in the world. Not enough people are aware Michael made the Guinness book of records for donating to charities more than any other celebrity.
There's nobody on this earth, ever, like anybody else so anybody greater will have to become the best of themselves like he did, and their life has to fall in line for them also like it did for Michael to be able to showcase himself in that way. The unique time also went with the uniqueness of the man.
Many people mistakenly credit Michael Jackson as "inventing" the so called "moon dance". In an interview when the reporter gave him credit for it, MJ was quick to correct him. He explained that he learned it from someone else. He also directed the reporter to watch an older 1950's movie called "Cabin In The Sky". A movie musical that featured many black actors, one of which performed this very move, which Black people used to call the "Backwards Slide". This dance was nothing new for black performers. As word has it, Jeffrey Daniels, a black singer/dancer/ choreographer taught MJ how to do it. Credit MJ for making it more popular and making it more mainstream.
These are the loveliest people I've ever seen. They speak so kindly. I enjoy how open and honest they are. It would be great to be able to hang out with them, and learn about their culture. It would be awesome if they could come to Texas. I'd feed them the best Texas cuisine, take them to see the PBR, George Strait and ZZ Top. We'd have a blast!
The comment in regards to the "computer" in Michael Jackson's brain was so insightful. It's really easy for people who are outside the world of entertainment to forget just how hard it is to memorize an entire performance to that degree of perfection. RiP Michael Jackson. There will probably never be another performer with the gifts and skills you had.
@@misskim2058 Absolutely. But even in that case, that level of perfection requires more than practice. Though he did practice probably more than anyone, his level of talent was just unbelievable.

It was really interesting to hear what they thought about Michael Jackson. I really liked the part where the man said that some of his dancing was like the movement of a peacock and he was like rubber because he could move the way he did. I also liked when the older man said that his mind was like a computer/machine and that's how Michael Jackson could remember all of his dance moves and the words to the song. Honestly, I've never heard a better way of describing the unusual talent of Michael Jackson. He's an extremely flexible peacock with a mind designed to interpret dance and music. I bet you never heard Bob Ross and Michael Jackson's names in the same thought before either, but it makes perfect sense! Both talented artists in their own ways and known to many people in the world.
Yeah I was really surprised by the precition of that comment and It made me think of that Jackson 5 song "Dancing Machine" and the way Michael was dancing since an early age.

Im convinced language really shapes how you view and describe the world. Wow. and effing peacock. Never made that connection
Well the peacock connection is that, it’s known in the culture that peacock dances when it’s happy and then spreads wings, which is considered peacock’s expression of happiness and beauty, and the peacock shares it with us humans if we are lucky.
This performance is one of pop music's all time best. They are right that it's more than just a song or dance, it was history. The combination of song, performance, vocals, moves, outfit, everything just orchestrated like a symphony. One man in the video mentioned that Michael was like a machine. I agree, he was a visionary. All those details combined and orchestrated in his mind, the talent, coupled with his innate understanding of audience is unrivaled. There is a reason people all over the world know him and can recognize his genius by watching him. It's still amazing all these years later. Like Michaelangelo, some artists are born to stand out.
" a peacock". What great observation. I've read interviews when Michael was about 20 years old where he said he was always watching and imitating and practicing the movements of animals.
I wish he becomes a religion!
@@hunnybunny1289 but Michael Jackson credited his success and talent to God. He wouldn't approve because no one was beneath him, he treated everyone the same whether you were a King or a Janitor, you had the same value to him.

You repeat it until it becomes a body memory, a reflex. However many times it takes, that’s what you do.
@@misskim2058 Absolutely. But even in that case, that level of perfection requires more than practice. Though he did practice probably more than anyone, his level of talent was just unbelievable.
Michael was a creative genius. I actually think the fact that he was quite an eccentric character actually AIDED his success hugely because it meant that he wasn't afraid to step outside the box creatively and do something different.
Some will come close but Never get Where He got…
…RIP Michael, you are Loved
The guy who said, " Michael's shirt had a shine to it, but his eyes had even more shine in them, very beautiful "
Damn! That one got me right in the feels.
I only just found your channel today, but have pretty much watched all your videos one after the other.
These people are beautiful and heartwarming to watch. If you’re ever having a bad day, simply watching these people speak would put a smile right back on your face.
same here! 4 videos so far haha
This was Beautiful. Thanks for making this video. 😊❤️❤️❤️
You don’t look like Michael Jackson bruh. You don’t
i enjoyed it honestly
@@arnoldshow8237 they are called impersonators.. no one can copy paste michael jackson
Whoever said you look like Michael Jackson did you dirty, they LIED to you
He picked up on MJs ability and expressed it perfectly. " He is a dancing and singing machine"
They are all so kind and respectful
Its kind of sad to see how these Pakistani Muslims are being appreciated in the comment section but always vilified in the media and by westerners :(
I remember reading that many people in Africa didn't know the name of their President but they knew Michael Jackson. One of the greatest of our kind.
MJ FEED SO MANY IN AFRICAN VILLAGES I WITNESS IT
Everyone on this planet have heard the name Michael Jackson, even indigenous people of the Amazon have heard his name.😁
With a lot of bad parts as well.
Africa is a continent. You sound conscendeting. I knew of who my president was and presidents of other countries, not just my country.
@@alicegauteng2358 yeah, so he isn’t wrong, many people in Africa didn’t know the name. He didn’t say most.
"His body is like rubber" LOL I love this video. So awesome to see genuine reactions to something that is so common to me and so new to them. I appreciate that the elder said MJ was an "enjoyable" dancer :)
Better translation of mazedar is “fun”
As someone who loves Michael Jackson like a part of my body, I would like to thank the host on behalf of his loved ones and fans because the way you introduced my angel to these beautiful souls I will forever remember you in my prayers. Thank you guys so much this honestly changed my mood and rejuvenated me.
Thank you so much, btw the host (Me) is also an Mj fan so I didn't even need to research on anything. I really know about Michael more than the media tells us. I hope he watched this video from the heaven above and smiled and feels proud of me :) Long live the King's legacy!
@@TRYBALS trust me! With every positive vibe from the purity of this video I think you didn’t only get his blessings but also God’s smile! Love you fellow moonwalker❤️

Wow. This is breathtaking. I loved their faces seeing our beautiful Michael. The guy talking about his eyes was on point! They truly are the window to our souls. Thank you so much for sharing this.
🤣🤭
He practiced.😳it's not hard.🤷♀️👍☕😎
Yet again this speaks volumes to the memory of Michael Jackson and how special he was to people all around the world! I've never seen anyone not fall instantly into smiles and excitement when first seeing him sing and dance and seeing the happiness in the eyes of these beautiful souled tribal men and women showcase that!
When the man said Michaels eyes outshine his glove & jacket 💜👑 thank you for introducing MJ to more people 🙏🏼
"Black people are very talented dancers " how accurate pops!!!
@Ip Man It's really not that bro, it's just cultural and confidence.
btw there's black people in his native regional land.. he referred to them when saying they are good at music/dance, and they are
I love black people fr
They're so cheerful and talented
@Ip Man Not all of us. We still here.
IKR!!😎💖🔥🎶
I really enjoyed Muharam Khan Bughio's description of THRILLER. Would really enjoy to see their reaction to that.
He wasn’t describing thriller.. he was describing the power of Michael’s music.. but it does sound like the Thriller view
The fact remains that MJ is the most popular artist to have ever lived, in my village they are children of 4-5 years that still knows this man, even though they were born years after his death. Pure and true talent makes history. MJ will never be forgotten for years to come
Maybe u can show them Michael Jackson's "Black or White" video. You have to have language dub for them though so they can understand the lyrics. That vid always makes me tear up
The face swapping would blow their minds
That was EXACTLY the first thing I thought!!! Spot on! I love MJ. I always have. I remember being a toddler and telling my mother that I wanted to meet him.
Amazing idea!
I think another excellent one would be Man in the Mirror
YES please! the video even had a Pakistani dancer dancing with MJ
I like the *clacking" sound of the "bangles" on the arm of the woman in red. It is such a pleasant sound. And I enjoyed their reactions much more than the sushi video haha.
Thats the original indian tradition. Nowadays you dont see much.
I know, I also enjoy her bracelets clacking!
There will NEVER be a legend as incredible as Michael Jackson.
It's amazing how MJ songs put lights in the eyes of every people on earth. It's put smile on there faces and seems appreciate it. Love this channel, thx to everyone.
this makes me think about how people in "the west" are almost conditioned to react. watching these individuals just calmly & stoically sit (on the whole) is a great testament to the mental stability & fortitude they must have.
i love this comment. so true
I know right? In the west people think somethings wrong with you if you’re calm like that.
That was so heartwarming, especially the parts about sharing culture.
Its kind of sad to see how these Pakistani Muslims are being appreciated in the comment section but always vilified in the media and by westerners :(

Kudos to the video editor for making MJ's "ooo!" and "eee!" fix the "no signal" on the top two streams just before the moonwalk. That was great!
This goes to show, MJ is the most famous musician of all time!
Right after Jesus

I love how straightforward and concisely analytical Mr.Aziz Rind is.
He speaks in such a considered manner, its really beautiful..
I also love that when shown something new, the men analyse and "enjoy" the thing from an immediate practical perspective, but Parvati's mind goes straight to the question of _how the thing was made_ or how she could learn the skill to make it herself
All love and success to this beautiful and fascinating channel and its immutable stars!
Thank you 🤗
Michael Jackson has just got five new fans. 🤩
They were all so moved. Their appreciation is beautiful as well. ✨🔥🙏💖
6:29 Props to the editor
I was waiting for the audience to pop when he did the moonwalk. The editing was perfect.
I even re played them the moonwalk again and again with slow speed as well so they could know how it works. If I were to include everything this video would be like 7 or 8 hours long lol
Indeed, that is THE moment.
Hell yeah, very smart to show us the collective reaction to the big moment.
Before the moonwalk I was thinking, “oh it’s too bad we can’t see everyone’s reaction at the same time. Then the multi screen popped up. ❤️
The way these folks describe things is amazing. I never thought of MJ as moving like a peacock...but that is probably one of the most spot on descriptions ever. hindi/urdu is such a beautiful language.
Exactly. This performance took MJ to legend status.
" a peacock". What great observation. I've read interviews when Michael was about 20 years old where he said he was always watching and imitating and practicing the movements of animals. Birds and cats are 2 of the animals I remember him mentioning. He would often incorporate their movements into his dance.
So much kindness and wisdom...
As an everlasting fan of Michael Jackson I find these reactions so emotional... Thank you for this moment of pure grace !! 🙏🙏❤
Many don't know Michael Jackson was inspired by Bob Fosse. An amazing dancer and choreographer. Check out his dance in "The Little Prince."
Yes, Bob Fosse was one of his many many inspirations.
I disagree I think both MJ and Fosse where influence by Fred Astaire hence the reason their moves were so similar.
@@reveremecourtney718 MJ had a lot of influences, but Bob was a big one. Fosse was MJ's first choice to direct Thriller and if you watch that scene from the little prince it's quite obvious
Michael Jackson was inspired by The Lockers and neighborhood street dancers in LA. We had seen that so called "moonwalk" many times before. Check out the RUclips videos of The Lockers and Jeffery Daniel speaking of his work with Michael Jackson. Jeffrey Daniel was/is a pop and lock master.
This isn't the first time something common in Black culture is introduced and it is misunderstood as being brand new.
Africans were break dancing and dancing before mj, who actually is a descendant..
I really enjoyed the reaction to Michael Jackson. I would love it more if you shared the Nicholas Brothers performance in the musical number "Jumpin' Jive" (with Cab Calloway and his orchestra) featured in the 1943 movie Stormy Weather. It has been praised as one of the best film dance routines of all time.

Yuuussss. Im in for this too. Cab for some amazing scat singing and the Nicholas Brothers destroying the tap game and going all out. ❤
0:53. The lighting on his hands made one look very dark and one very light. Seemed a fitting metaphor for MJ. 😅
11:05 The guy mentions that he once read that if MJ sang in a cemetery, he could raise the dead. - C'mon! How can you NOT play the "Thriller" music video for them now?!
Lol
If MJ was still alive imagine if he went to a cemetery at 3am and started singing
Music is the language that creates a bridge between cultures.
I will forever love me some Michael Jackson, and I can't wait to meet him in heaven! Thanx for the awesome video.
