These pistons look great on the bench and I sure hope they run as good as they look! I think they will actually. I am just used to a much lighter piston and smaller ring packs, but I have never built a bottom end for boost either. I will get a video out soon on the crank, rods and wrist pins also, along with the cam and heads we will be using. Sorry for the quality of audio and video, but I will get better as I go. Some quick info though the Callies crank is a BBC snout as the roots blowers really grab & pull on the snout. No balancer, I opted for the crank hub with the 4 flying magnets built in to trigger the MSD Digital 8 Plus. In short order, I will convert this build over to sequential spark with coil on plugs as I cannot afford any mis-fires. FuelTech ECU will be used for tuning and data logging. Much more to come on this build.

s4LUVN will know more soon. This virus situation has set us back personally but hope to fire it up in the next week or two.

Yeah I started out running 10 to 12 pounds of boost and last time I was at the track I ran 40 pounds. Boost is addictive best statement I’ve heard in a while.

@@KevinWilsonSBC Thanks for the information have you seen any problem with main /rod bearings using the steel rods? was this the rod recommended by Steve Morris. I am just asking because I would rather use Callies Ultra or Oliver Billet instead of Aluminum. Thank you for your reply

@@coltoberle8253 I have not had any issues at all with these Callies Ultra rods. I considered aluminum rods, but decided to go with these after talking with Steve Morris. I also went with severe duty wrist pins. We are only running 22 lbs of boost and all has been fine so far.

Would you recommend some of these in a stock ls1?

Joeangel Salazar thanks so much for your comments! I definitely recommend Diamond Pistons in any build, but the pistons are just 1 small part of the equation. The heads, rods, crank, cam, etc. all need to be built for the application. Go fast, go straight! Be Safe!

Joel Weekes thanks so much for your questions! I would say it turned out pretty well. Checkout ruclips.net/video/cx--02_Ih6s/видео.html and the current boost is 22 psi with more in the way. These pistons are the real deal. Go fast, go straight! Be Safe!!
