Alex copying Kate was a laugh filled moment, and to hear Kate say one more time "FRUIT SNACKS" was precious!! 🍉🍉🍉 I hope you head back for more videos from this supermarket. 😊
Your channel is my comfort show ❤ I have been watching your videos since I started law school back in 2021 and I am now in my last month of classes! Thank you for the much needed laughter and fun food journeys!! 🍉🍉🍉
I thought I had replied to this comment but can’t see my reply! Love that you enjoy our channel as your comfort show ♥️♥️ that makes me happy!! Last month of classes, how amazing! Congratulations 🎉 wishing you all the best
Loved seeing the tin from Calais. My Grandmother came from Calais France as a young girl. Unfortunately, she passed before I was born so I didn’t get to hear her stories. Any time I see the name of the town, it makes me feel close to her, even though we never met.
the old biscuits box at begin (Sangatte on the title) : These box have the right shape and format to put sugar-chunks box in after biscuits eated (format 1kg , yes its european format not sure it work with US sugar box) , its good to know that if you want kitchen usefull decoration
I need a full video of your shopping trip! 🍉 I studied in France way back in 2005 and miss it sooooooo much. Seeing the market takes me back instantly even though I probably only went to one like twice while there since my host mom did all the shopping. Never had any of these items though!
🍉 I love watching these kinds of videos so those of us who travel know what we should be on the look for. I know everyone has different tastes, but if something is really good, it’s nice to know.
Whilst you don’t have my full attention, I love the longer videos as I have them on the TV while I work and I always end up getting distracted and looking up like “wow that looks yummy…” 🍉🍉🍉 thanks for doing what you do!
Most supermarkets and shopping mall shops are now open on Sundays, at least in urrban settings/big cities. It used to not be the case, as if I went to the cinema in the big shopping mall near me on Sunday, the cinema, the food court and two or three shops would be open. I think it must have been about a decade ago that trading laws relaxed and almost everywhere stayed open on Sundays.
🍉🍉🍉 I am Canadian who speaks only English. There are no French-speaking communities near where I live, so I feel like I have little exposure to the language in my everyday life. Having studied a very little French in school quite a number of years ago, I feel very inadequate when it comes to using French language in any way. But I guess the bilingual food packaging here in Canada has infiltrated my brain more than I realized! I was surprised to be able to read/translate quite a few of the French descriptions on the packaging of these snacks. I look forward to seeing the remainder of the products you purchased in France. Bon nuit! ❤😊
I am in the same boat. I live in NZ and speak a little of several European languages. If you reply to me feel free to reply in French and maybe any French who read this can correct me because there will probably be an occasional mistake. Alex a parle en francaise dans la video.
Armentières is like a 20k people city, so it's checks out to have a "big" Supermarket, also belgium is right at the corner and a lot of belgian come to do their groceries too
🍉 I love that you are showing different supermarkets in other countries, I personally grow tired of videos of people from different countries trying to American food and act like they don’t have the exact same junk food as Americans. So I’m glad you’re showing everything. 😊
Everything in that haul looked really good. I thought France wouldn't have been so sugar driven, but I guess the world is as much a sugar addict as America is. There were a lot of what looked like sugary cereals on that aisle. Get 'em hooked when they're young right? Always enjoy your videos when you go on excursions.😊 Have a good week.
Haha nope there is definitely plenty of sugared items in France too!! Yes i thought that too. Wasn’t expecting that many sugared cereal! Thank you so much 🥰
🍉🍉Alex, I live in NZ and there is a European shop in Auckland city called Safka where I found foods featured in youtube videos sold (Its not a youtube shop, its that I looked up certain foods featured in youtube videos that a lot of tasters liked and it led me to Safka). I recently tried Lu petit ecolier biscuits and they contained no milk. They were delicious. Have you heard of St Michael madeleines? they have quite a milky taste, I like them.
I haven’t seen your videos in my feed in so long! Ugh! The RUclips algorithm must be so frustrating for content creators. Well, I will try to seek you out more!!!!
love your videos up to just after 🍉. i just really don't like the bit you do at the end (5,6,7,8....) but thats just my opinion. i usually watch your videos up to that part. x
I craved fresh croissants for weeks after coming home from France and having the continental breakfast every morning!
They’re just so good aren’t they!
Alex copying Kate was a laugh filled moment, and to hear Kate say one more time "FRUIT SNACKS" was precious!! 🍉🍉🍉 I hope you head back for more videos from this supermarket. 😊
Hahaha glad you enjoyed this one 🥰🥰 love getting in a “FRUIT SNACKS” 😂😂

Nous avons de bonnes choses en France :)
I'm happy to enjoyed it... but there's more to try in France ;)
I love your jacket, Kate. Reminds me of my late 80’s early 90’s days. 😎 🍉

I'm allergic to 🍐 and apricot 😢
I wish we could get some of these in Tx!! 🍉
That would be cool! 🍉 ♥️
They got a ton of stuff with American name brands that we don't have in America. I'm feeling a little jipped.(slang for left out or robbed).
Haha funny when that happens right! I feel jipped about the KitKats 😂
🍉Fun as always from beginning to end!
Ahh thank you so much!
🍉 🍉 I love you guys!!❤

The fruit bars look like a candy my son always gets from the Lyndor store but can’t find them anywhere now.
Wonder if you can find these online!

It’s really is frustrating atm! I’m missing a lot of my creators I enjoy to watch too!

Why is it called "Petit écolier" ? Because it was the classic school snack, a biscuit with a chocolate bar.
