As an American living in Portugal I miss all the crazy selection available in grocery stores in the USA, watching this video makes me want to move to Nice immediately. Time to restart those French lessons. 😀
Ich liebe es auch in Frankreich im Urlaub zum Supermarkt zu gehen. Ich finde immer Produkte, die ich liebe und mit nach hause nehme, um so meinen Urlaub zu verlängern. Mache ich jedes mal so. 😀
As a French, I can tell you that these ladies know their French products very well! For champagne, the classic Burgundy way, is with cassis cordial. It's called Kir Royal. Another French classic but not from the south!
Incredible, place!🎉 My son, always brings back Camargue Salt for us, when he's back from his holidays! Delicious! This presentation is right up my alley; as I love supermarket s! Another fantastic tour from you! What a vibe!🍇🍒😍
Thanks for the shopping trip ladies 👌 I’m actually from the Uk and meeting some of my family there in September from Australia can’t wait to have a look around the supermarket when I get there now I feel educated and hungry 🤣Many thanks
@ Riviera Go. What are the best places to visit or to see in Nice on oldyears eve 31th of december? Dinnershows for example. Thank you merci beaucoup.🙏☺️
Ohja nix besseres ey. Gehen mindestens 2 mal im Jahr nach Frankreich extra zum einkaufen. Gachee, broichee und lauter leckerein also das Gebäck ist wirklich kööööstlich😅😊
This is so useful...what's the best way to get there if you're a tourist ..is it easy to go ? If you font have a car how do we bring the Grocery back? We're staying at an airbnb for a week and would like to stock up on a few basics
Food shopping is certainly not done in a supermarket, where everything is industrial. Go to covered markets and open air markets. Such a shame to go to a supermarket, especially in the South of France.
Of course, all the markets we have around here are awesome and perfect for fresh food (though not organic most of the time). We’ve covered many of those in other videos! But every one needs a supermarket for some basic products, right? So we‘re showing some products that to us, as foreigners, are pretty special in French supermarkets. Not trying to say they‘re the best choice for a healthy diet 😅
@@rivierago The only thing I would buy in a supermarket is toilet paper and the like. I do not eat industrial food. I would certainly not eat meat that has been plastic packed.
The non-french are manner less brutes and do not say bonjour & au revoir to the people working in super markets or mini super markets in france. I used to go to shopi & inter marche in digne les bains
It is not about the products you buy but the experience of shopping in a hyper or super market. North Americans will never understand that. France is tops according to me.

Urlaub verlängern - das klingt super 🤩 (für uns immer ideale Mitbringsel, über die sich jeder in der Heimat freut 😉)

You‘re welcome! Sounds like a lovely idea to have the family gathering here on the French Riviera! 👌
I do think that these two adorable ladies have no clue on what they are about to buy but this is part of the fun
Why would you think that? 🤔
I want to be shopping there now! Thankyou for the tour Magnificat
Thank you! 😄
Thank you, your videos are really informative

There are big supermarkets all over the place, depends on where you stay exactly…
Merci!🎉❤
🙏🤩
Are the supermarket prices cheaper than the market place?
It actually depends on the market/supermarket. Generally the supermarket is probably cheaper, yes
Thanks
you can ask cashiers to use store card when checking out.
Not sure we know what you mean? The store’s „loyalty card“ (carte de fidélité)?
Best butter to buy??
“Beurre de baratte” from an organic (bio) brand 🤩
The cheese to go with your wine ? It is just the other way round ! You chose the cheese first and THEN the wine to go with it.
Oh, our bad! 🫣
Caramba... Bonne Maman... Rosé .... well... who did you have in mind? ;-)
🤣🤣🤣
👍🏻
Attention ⚠️ pour les amateurs de 🍻 🍺 bière ..à 8:8... la bouteille de "Picon " Red and yellow a verser dans sa bière !in Alsace Picon bière !
🤔
but you have the Bifi sausage in Germany...
Do they even still exist? We were recently thinking about them, 80ies food 🤣
