thats not even standards lol its plain common sense....if you are a half intelligent human being you should be able to see that if i can serve 2-3 people at the same time, and acknowledge them you are going to make more money for yourself and the business. And also chances of getting a good tip are so much higher especially when customers see you working your ass off and also being fun and engaging.

I've Done Banquets Bartending never made just one Drink at a time... When you get a Rush In A Full Bar The slower you move the less tips you make.... She didn't have work ethic and she deserved to be let go and replaced

P's and Q's Autobody in Huntington, NY, which appeared on season 4 of Bar Rescue has closed. The bar closed in October 2018 when longtime bartender Michael Matarazzo bought the bar and changed the name to Repeal XVIII. Michael first bought into P's and Q's as a partner, then eventually decided to buy the other owner out and run the bar the way he wanted with his own concept (Link). You may remember Michael as he was on the P's and Q's Autobody episode of Bar Rescue.
P's and Q's Autobody was originally named Artful Dodger before Jon Taffer did the makeover, and the bar did keep the name given to them Bar Rescue. The episode originally aired in October 2014 and here is the original update. P's and Q's was damaged badly in a fire in March 2015 and closed for over a year until they reopened in May 2016. After the fire, they had to get rid of the secret entrance installed by Bar Rescue.

It’s a silly detail to note, but being a soda jerk in a movie theatre is almost the same in terms of speed and multitasking:
sodas first, popcorn, then to-order foods, and top off with candy up sell.
Problem is every item needs to be up sold, and you gotta make sure to set things out, then ring them up.
Sticker shop is hard to smooth over.
I get it's hard to accept change... But I've worked in a kitchen with 3 different chefs, each with his own way of doing shit.... If the change is for the better get over it, get it down, and perform the shit out of it....

It just...irks me when bartenders walk out over having to multitask. I mean, granted, it can be overwhelming (I guess?) to all of a sudden be expected to make more than one drink at once, but still...don’t most places (probably?) expect multitasking or multi-pouring...?

I used to go to Artful Dodger in it's heyday(2010-12). At one point, it was the hottest bar in Huntington. It had two DJ's, two bars, and a dance floor. The girls there on a weekend night were hot, and the crowds were extremely diverse(more than any other bar in town;Huntington Village is very white).
It's sad what happened to Artful, and the bar they replaced it with on this show doesn't draw even 1/4th of the crowds Artful used to.

When you're busy behind the bar an you can't make more then one drink at a time you shouldn't be a bartender. You should be able to make 2 or 3 drinks at once depending on what they are an what's in them it shouldn't be that hard if you know how to multitask

Charllee Dodson what if everyone doesn’t want a sex on the beach? And you have to make 4 different drinks. Now the first person has to wait because you are finishing someone else’s drink behind them. On a Friday/Saturday we have 9-10 bartenders so if they have to wait. Minute they just have to wait.
