Although I love Rupert Hine as well -- especially his work with The Fixx -- he didn't produce this version of the song. This was on the band's self-produced EP in 1985. The Rupert Hine version was on the 1986 album Almacantar. By the way, Rupert Hine and I were both in the crowd at their 1985 Canada Day concert in Ottawa -- sadly, I didn't get to meet him! :-D

Rupert Hine is my favorite producer of all time. He has never done anything that I did not like.
