I cant remember how i did it. Tv should have a game mode setting. Aswell as the xbox having a tv calibration test thing that sets it up. For me doing that unlocked the ability to toggle the 4k settings on and off

Most monitors have the HDMI 2 port reserved for HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 and if you use that part you will have more bandwidth between the Xbox and the monitor and potentially higher frame rates because now the monitor if it's capable is now capable of running more than 60hz for example no it could do 120 Hz on 1080p

You are a fucking Idiot. Its not 120fps its 120hz its completly different. And 120hz is always better and looks almost the same as 4k 60HZ. And you are wrong again. The 120hz refesh rate does improve input lag noticeably. So by trying to sound smart you are actually looking like a Nim Rod.
I found if I squirted an entire can of WD40 into the internals, it ran 3x as fast and much quieter. The oil really helps those parts slide much easier. I got 180Hz and 300FPS. No honestly I did
You have no idea whatsoever, You need to first change the display setting from automatic to HDMI then you change it to PC RGB then you untick all the boxes and drop resolution down to 720p. Once you drop resolution down you will see an option appear underbeath that say 60hz. Then you click that option and change it to 120hz. Then start upping your resolution until it tells you that you can not run the resolution at 120hz. That is how you max out your display settings and improve framerate
When your changing the setting it would of said in 20 seconds this setting will change back automatically, Click yes if you would like this setting. Obviously if your screen went black and stayed black you pressed yes rather then waiting and trying another setting. That is the reason they give you 20 seconds just in case it doesn't display properly. First, totally power down your Xbox One by holding the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds. Don’t just tap it; hold the button down. Next, turn it back on by holding both the disc eject and power buttons for a good 10-20 seconds. This bit is key: don’t release the buttons when you see the Xbox One light come on; instead, continue holding the buttons until you hear a second chime. Also, just keep an eye on your TV screen/monitor - hold those buttons down until you see the green Xbox One start screen. It will change to factory settings 640p In future if you change a display setting and you loose screen visual, Just don't press any buttons and it will revert back.

You forgot to add to bathe the xbox in water. Removing all of the dust and germs from the console can increase fps by 100.
