There is no way try Upright or something new if you buy MODO BASS SE 1 before i think. Musician First ... ?

Are there plans for an iOS version of modo bass 2?
I already have the Hammond B3 and really like it. For a bass I only found SWAM on the iPad so far.
If there are plans for an iPad auv3 version I would wait for the IK modo bass 2

The DROP option tunes the lowest string one tone lower, bringing it from E to D (or from B to A in the case of a 5 or 6 string setup). Besides extending the range of the bass, this “loosens” the string giving it a particular behavior and tone. DROP tuning is typical in Hard Rock and Metal."

Wonderful sound and so realistic. Now just waiting for MODO GUITAR to come this year to complete the rock band totally in the box. Sampled guitars are just not satisfying enough. Bring on the guitars. Modo Bass 2016...Modo Drum 2019...Modo Guitar 2022? Fingers crossed it's true tell me it's true!
same here! one thing I'm totally sure - MODO GUITAR would be an absolute beast
It sure would be great, but physical modelling guitars are a pain in the butt getting to sound real. You got all these VSTi's floating around, some of them sound great when hitting some single notes, but as soon as you play chords, palm mutes or something in the extreme high or lowrange in pitch, or if you hear a solo with nothing else to camouflage the digital flaws, then it goes from uncanny to outright horrible synthetic sounding. If IkMultimedia has plans to release such a plugin at any time, you can rest assured that they'll take sweeeeeeet time refining and tweaking every possible detail, before they release as much as a teaser. Every single existing physical modelling instrument, that emulates the ressonance from guitar strings, is clunky, ugly and so synthy that someone with a good ear for details won't even bother and stick to sampled instruments with 4 or 8 times round-robin etc. It has to be miles ahead of something like AAS Strum GS-2 (expensive junk), IronAxe (more like PlasticAxe) and Wedge Force (ok'ish as a "toy" for $30 but horrible in a pro/semi-pro setting) etc. etc. I hope they do it and they do it right, like they did with Modo Bass & Modo Drums (a producer's dream) 😀

MODO BASS offers 22 unique bass instruments. Under the MODEL tab you can browse through the different basses. MODO BASS 2.0 has expanded options with the addition of 2 fretless basses, 2 double basses and the freedom to make any bass a fretless.
I love it.
Does it have a multi-output option?
I believe EZ bass has an option to 'read' your midi of the rest of the track (e.g. keyboard / chord progression) and tailor a bass part to it. does modobass also have something like this?

MODO BASS upgrade is to the newest which is version 2. The upgrade is $149.99 and gets you all the basses.

How can we demo Studio Bass? I am not easily finding a way on the site nor on in the IK software manager. The site has a "try" button that links to the IK software manager, which I have - not able to find it...
The CS version has free basses for you to use. That way you can try the software and if you like it you can purchase the version that contains the bass you like or purchase the bass a la carte.
How many patterns in total?

MODO BASS 2 is currently on sale for 99.99 so you *might* be able to get one single real (cheap) bass... And none of the many basses included with MODO BASS 2 can be purchased for even what MODO BASS 2 costs at full price...
