@@elmortobeats5919 I dont get your question, but what I meant trillian uses real bass samples, its high quality but eats like 2gb ram each sample, unlike modo bass, which does sound modeling

DANG!! I had just watched several vids with this software and they were...ok. I was considering this software, but wasn't all that impressed. THEN...I watched and LISTENED to this vid..and again DANG!! NOW I'm sold. Ok, I'm a bit short on the talent side of bass being mostly a keyboard player, but for my recording purposes (self projects) this can only help. Won't cost as much as buying a new bass and certainly nothing near what it would cost to have all these guitar options. Thx guys, this is a priceless vid. Kudos!

Funny, that teal, Studio 5 string bass showing at the beginning is my "got to" Modo bass for my songs. I'm no professional musician, but I take my songs seriously, it has to sound respectable, but just saying, I simple LOVE this plugin. Funny how it's so hard to get a authentic sounding VST guitar, but Modo has made a near authentic sound bass product. So many options and setting to play with, even like, old, new and worn strings, which put out distinctively different sounds
I can't say enough about it, I'll only get on line and comment on something if I love something or hate it. The only thing I can't perfect is the slide, but I just need to stop and take time to learn. If I have one or two slides in a song I'll just use my real bass, though that's all the use that real Ibanez bass gets, except for when I film a video {chuckle}. I'm more of a studio engineer, I'd rather spend my hours upon hours in the studio working with the software and shaping sound, than practicing a guitar or bass. Here is a real life version of my Modo bass in this song, I use that same dark green "Studio Bass" I used 3 bass tracks the ones panned left and right were more what I called "nasty" the center was like a "cutter" to cut through the mix. MODO BASS is a virtual instrument controlled via MIDI so you'd need to convert your playing into MIDI data in order to us it with a bass. Also, MODO BASS is not available on iOS devices.

Is Modo Bass compatibile with Roland GK-3 MIDI pickup on an electric guitar? Or should we use some specific MIDI pianos?

MODO Bass works with MIDI controllers connected to your computer directly (and also as a plugin in your DAW with your MIDI controllers there or MIDI data on MIDI tracks).

The installer will install the various plugin formats and it should show in your DAW. There is no need to move or otherwise do anything with a DLL file directly. Please open a ticket with IK Support at www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/mi/ if you've installed MODO BASS and are not seeing it as an instrument plugin in your DAW.
How can i use the slide articulation like a real bass the way ampli-bass does

Sorry! This sounds too good. I can't focus on the software if they keep grooving like that hahaha! I bought the Total Bundle some time ago and now I'm getting to know MODO BASS. Is it any good? Yep, it's ... good enough. And when you get closer to the limits it moves the limits, so there's room to grow and room to groove. That's my experience so far!

I’m the guitarist in the vid’, all of the guitar tones that you hear are from AmpliTube on my iPhone connected directly to the mixing console (…controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth w/a IK Multimedia BlueBoard and two HoTone Wah/Vol./Exp. pedals). IK Multimedia offers too many great products for guitarists, the last thing that they’d wanna’ do is push us away! 😉😆😎🎸
