Big E let corvus make the decision to conquer his homeworld by himself with the nukes he found. Corvus didnt even have to take over the planet inch by inch like mortarion did you can tell who the emperors favorites were.
Anyone can defeat Custodes, they kind of suck. That's why they were consigned to the Palace forever, they can't handle a real war but are far too expensive to just get rid of so and it'd embarrassingly require admiting that they're maintaining these 10 thousand jerks for literally no reason when their job can be done by a CCTV and no one feels like doing that.
I think morty would be a smart first choice as a redeemed primarch I would say hes always gotten the short end of the stick as much as I believe perty or have corvax stop playing bird man

I'm pretty sure the opinion among all the other primarchs of Mortarion was that he was an ignorant clown and asshole. If Sanguinius was beloved by all the primarchs, Mortarion was reviled by them. He was no hero, even in his life prior to meeting the Emperor.
I kind of got the sense that it was more of a self-fulfilling prophecy. His brothers were likely wary of him and avoided him based on his appearance and demeanor and he likely picked up on it and was further embittered. Given how we've seen other primarchs compete and rebuke one another, he likely also felt resentment and insecurity because he didn't have the same achievements or particularly excel or stand out at anything in the same way as his brothers (aside from maybe physical resilience).
How come he dident mention saving typus from being killed and stuff also why dident the emperor just wound mortarion father and then bring him down to let mortarion finish him off or grabbed his father and brought him down to let mortarion kill him

Some of this is very wrong. Perturabo was Nurgle's first choice. Mortarion didn't choose to join Nurgle until there was no other option. Also, as noted in the comments, it was Albion, previously the UK, not south eastern europe. Iron hands, Iron warriors and death guard are all from Old Albia.
