Quality Murray, rest the knee, it will come good. First saw Am Batach in early 1980s great wee hill made better by a few pine woods in those days, made it look stunning when sunlit. Returned a few years ago, so sad some of the larger pine woods have been felled & the farm buildings going derelict. Came over the top of Am Batach from Ciste Dubh a great hill.
I was recommended your channel via a few youtuber (A Shropshire Lad) and I must admit, I've been mesmerised with the locations, high quality production and genuine enthusiasm that you create in your videos. I've got a big back catalogue to work through but it's definitely worth it! Excellent. ATB Andy
Superb Murray…..that van is a proper oasis and as usual your vlog is yet an other Inspiration for a day out on the hills in an area I am not familiar with….glad to see them boots steaming despite your dodgy knee which I hope improves in the near future.
Enjoyed this video very much as it is one of the closest mountains to my home. I loved the way you described Am Bathach as 'steep' because you're right, it's 'b___y' steep, as I remember well, particularly when you are a 75 year old like me !!! However, once on the top it's a great ridge route to Ciste Dhudh. Great photography and a nice keepsake for my RUclips library now my hillwalking days are pretty much over. Keep them coming !! Best regards, Ian
Literally a "Steaming Boots" production at the end there Murray ! Perfect weather, lovely day out. Quick question.....is there ever a point...on such a day as that...when you almost blurt out, in front of the camera...'clucking hell'.........just asking. Stunning, thanks so much for these movies.
Yes 😂😂😂
Lovely hike. I really need to learn to read the weather better. Love the pack matching the gear, looked like a modelling shoot 😂 ALB Murray 🏔
I try my best - next stop ... the Milan catwalk ;)lol
Take care and thanks for watching

Fantastic vid and day. Lucked out again with the weather! Great hills to wander on. Don't eat all the scotch eggs, leave some for me! 😂
With walks and views like this, it makes one glad to be alive.
I would like to ask please, what were the jacket & trousers you were wearing?
Many thanks.
Lovely views, must go down well with a Scotch egg :)
